7 Labours of Thor

Started by thtadthtshldntb3 pages

If the Gem is actually in Juggernaut then that might be a problem, unless he gets one or more of the Infinity Gems.

As to decapitating Wolverine, all he would have to do is teleport to a black hole with Wolverine and hover over the event horizon and then plunge Wolverine from the neck down in. The only thing left would be the head.

3 & 4 just both require Thor to track down Savage Land/Antarctic Vibranium.

Is this the most powerful version of Thor?

Haha, Rune King would clear this no problem.

So I'm assuming it's classic Thor.

It's in the antarctic (hence antarctic vibranium). It's rare, but there is still a bit in the Earth.

T'challa also has some anti metal (swords and claws and the like) that Thor could always thieve if he so desired.

T'Challa isn't Black Cat. You mean the Black Panther?

I don't believe the Black Cat has antimetal claws.

And yes, the Black Panther COULD decapitate Wolverine. Anti-metal is a *****.

After seeing that the success of the mythical 12 Labours of Hercules, Odin decides to challenge his son, Thor to a similar contest. In order to prove his worth as a God of Asgard, Thor must complete all 7 tasks in A YEAR. He is allowed ANY means to succeed.

The 7 Labours of Thor

1. Bring back the hide of Thing
2. Move the Blob
3. Decapitate Wolverine
4. Shatter Captain America's shield
5. Steal Hal Jordan's GL Ring
6. Break apart Silver Surfer's Board
7. Remove the Gem of Cytorrak from Classic Juggernaut

Can Thor succeed and prove worthy of the mantel of Thunder God???

5, and 7 are impossible.
Hal is in DC, and Thor can't really make his way there.

The gem isn't in Juggs.

Thor just has to steal that nifty little bike that Reed Richards built to transport Thing to the DC universe....

I don't see why Thor can't just use Mjolnir to teleport there...Flash did it under his own power.

1) Thor brings back Things head to odin.

2) He picks blob up with one finger and throws his fat ass into orbit.

3) Like Digi said before, wolvies joints arent made of addimantium, Thor could rip his head off easilly.

4) This would be tuff, King or rune king can do it easilly.
Maybe a god Blast can do the trick.

5) This would be aslo tuff, thor dosent have to fight hal, he could take him out and get him drunk with that good ol meed. Hal's ring would be easy picking after the end of the night,

6) Thor can break Surfer's board if he trys hard enough, i mean Cable did, thor can as well.

7) Find the Cytorrak gem..right?...with a year, thor is bound to find it.

Thor clears it 😄

7 has been changed. Thor just has to find the gem.

Given a full year, with ANY and ALL resources available to him, and by any means necessary......Thor will MOST DEFINATELY clear this....

1. Bring back the hide of Thing - Thor will bring back his hide, head, arms, legs, baby-blue eyes, etc.....you name it....

2. Move the Blob - Puh-leeeze, if the grey Hulk could do it, Thor won't have any problem. Thor can literally send anything, or anyone to the other side of the galaxy thousands of light years away with just a mere magic bolt fired at his enemy. How's that for "moving" the Blob??

3. Decapitate Wolverine - Thor pulls Wolvie's arms off, and using them as swords against him, decapitates his own head off his shoulders.

4. Shatter Captain America's shield - Thor's hammer is capable of shattering entire mountains- (Thor-#156), pulverizing small planetoids (see Thor#400), could shake an entire planet (see Thor#388), or even destroy an entire world- (Thor-#125). The full power of Thor's hammer can radiate with the energy of a THOUSAND SUNS…enough to even destroy an Entity such as Surtur...Thor's hammer can also produce solar flares; which is about twice the temperature of the sun. So surely, shattering Cap's shield with Mjolnir isn't going to be much of a challenge.

5. Steal Hal Jordan's GL Ring - this might prove to be a bit tricky if Thor tries to take it by force...here he will have to play it cool. Thor can do one of three things here .... 1) Use his hammer to literally put Hal to sleep and then steal it.(Thor #372) 2) Use his hammer to erase Hal's memory of ever having the ring at all. (This power was shown in Invaders #33) and finally 3) He could always just ask!!! Hey, ya never know...sometimes all you need is a little kindness.

6. Break apart Silver Surfer's Board - I think Thor could do this...no problem....one of Thor's handy dandy powers is TRANSMUTATION OF ELEMENTS!!! Yep, Thor once turned Absorbing Man's iron body into a gas(Journey into Mystery #115)...so, I think he would be able to turn Silver Surfer's board into water, then freeze it, and then shatter it once it was turned to ice.

7. Finding the Gem of Cytorrak and becoming Juggernaut - Thor’s hammer can track practically all kinds of energy signature-(Thor Corps-#1, Avengers-#309, and Strange Tales-#182.) I believe he would be able to lock onto the mystical energy of the gem, track it, and find it. And becoming the Juggernaut?!? Well, I'm sure that once Thor explained his situation to Cytorrak and why he needs this power, Cytorrak would grant his wish. I mean, if he'd turn a punk like Cain Marko into the Juggernaut, why not an god of thunder and a prince of Asgard?!?

Anyway, this is just my 2 cents worth......so in other words, THOR CLEARS IT!!!!!!! Oh yeah, great thread by the way!!!! Very cool and original 😉
