...but suddenly, half of the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents pull out syringes full of green liquid and inject themselves with it. The hue of their skin turns blue and they easily disarm the agents with their superior skills and strength. Then, Prince Namor steps out from shadows and slaps Commander Maria Hill with surgically executed and powerful pimpslap, sending her fly through every wall of the Helicarrier and landing straight to Giant Man's face, and they both explode, in a mass of blood and bones.Namor: "I hope that you remembered to register THAT. Dumb broad."
Then the Helicarrier is sunken on Mariana Trench alongside with the bloody mess that was once known as the superhero Hank Pym and Commander Maria Hill.
(Just joking...nice scenario 🙂)

cliches are why we read comics 😆
No, cliches are why children read comics. Intricate plots, believable characters, clever writing, and memorable artwork are why I read comics.
😉
...it's possible to be epic and touching without cliche. That said, I could do with less of the trite-ness in that Runaways shot.

I agree 100 % with u, thats why I read comics too. I cant wait to get into Runaways again when Joss Wheddon starts writing it.

I actually thought It looked good but I find the whole thing very cliche. Heroes meet Heroes, they dont like each other or theres a misunderstanding, heroes get together to fight common foe.
YA/Runaways civil war mini is basically something to give the YA fans their fix while Heinberg and Cheung get ready for the second volume.
It's Ok...nothing special but not bad.
