And as for Stark's reasonings...

IRON MAN 14 #14
The Story: CIVIL WAR Tie-In!
Tony Stark’s life has become a living nightmare. Forced to fight against his former allies over the Superhuman Registration Act, he’s paying the highest possible price for his beliefs. Reconnecting with old friends proves bittersweet as it leads to high risks and impossible decisions. In this Civil War issue, it’s not just about whose side he’s on... it’s about what kind of a man he is.

People are completely focusing on every bad thing Tony does and not noticing that he has been shown to be struggling and unsure of his actions. The recent Iron man arc helped to show how Tony's gotten into his current mindset, and i'm hoping the tie-in issues will delve into him even more. He is being an incredible arse, and doing some really ****ed up things, but alot of readers are over villifying him IMO.

The whole thing with war is that it forces you to do some extremely terrible things. this whole thing is forcing Tony to go to a dark place that he doesn't want to go to, but he feels the means justify the ends.

We started to see this happening with Cap in #4. Bill Foster's just died and all he's focused on is winning the war. People are losing faith in him. This whole thing is taking him to a dark place aswell, and this is something i hope we see more of in the coming issues.

Great post. 👆

War makes people do bad things. That is reality. Some people don't seem to understand that.

Your right there H.S.6

When the metal hits the meat which will you be ?

Holding the metal ? Or being the meat ?

Its funny, the Pro-Reg side is killing themselves now.

Personally, I agree with some parts of registration.

Such as heros having to reveil their idenitys.

However working for the government and whatnot, goes above the purpose of registration.

Excellent point Grimm, and to parallel that idea and tie it to modern life. Yes people have to register in order to get their hands on guns and weaponry- which I think is pointless anyways- and the government doesn't draft hunters into the military or hire them as vigilantes. I understand the super-humans is a more extreme, more risky situation, but honestly, when you boil it all down, it just doesn't fit- just like the Patriot Act.

Cable & Deadpool #32, CW:Ya/Runaways # 3 and Captain America #22(tie-in) came out today as well. I got them all but wont have time to post the scans, Anybody else has them?

Iron Man frowned through his metal suit in the last ASM...that's just ridiculous.

How so ? Extremis is STORED in his damn bones. I wouldn't be surprised if the thing could become liquid ...

That always did sort of bug me, like how we would see his mask squint as if it was his face.

Exactly and Joe Quesada himself stated that the guy in the black costume might not be Peter but someone else in an attempt by Peter to regain his secret identity which by him going public I dont see how it might work.

Yea, I don't see how it'll work either considering Peter's used his powers in public on more than one occasion now. I hope something like this is attempted in the book and fails. I'd love to see the press call this person out of their "bluff"

Theres a new issue on the scans thread kids. Say thank u! 😄:

Ugh, didnt marvel learn their leason?

Peter is the only Spidey, no one else can be Spidey but him

I do. It makes a hero look like a villain unecessarily. Masks can be skin tight, I buy that explanation but Iron Man?

I agree with you but theres a slight difference between a cloth mask and a metal plate. 😛

Captain America # 22 has been added as well.
