I really enoyed the CW Choosing Sides ish. Venom was badass, I'm excited about the Thunderbolts now, USAgent was amazing, Antman made me laugh (I'm gonna start picking up his book now) and Howard the Duck...well he's not human. Nice issue setting up for future stories.
BTW, did anyone else get the reference to the comic book writers when Gargan is talking on the phone. Made me laugh
Thanks for the scans BA

I enjoyed this issue quiet a bit but honestly I wouldve prefer using the space they used hor Howard with another charachter to further the storyline. Who gives a s**t about Howard!. Now Venom. I honestly haventenjoyed his character like that in months/years, he was psycho and a badass and funny all in one, hopefully they can keep it up. US Agent, somehow I cant never get into liking this charachter, I dont hate it completly but I just donr like him but what I hated about this is Tony Stark bribing him/cohercing him into doing that for him. While im not an Alpha Flight fan I thought his joining the team wouldve been something a bit more meaningful but it aint. Its just a lap dog following order which also leads me to believe that Arachne will be coherced(sp?) into joining the team too.
i dont get it cuz, usagent is an actual super strong invulnerable guy, a more powerful albiet less martial artsy version of cap. america..so he gets banged up so bad from falling a few stories, he needs a cast and bandages, but a few short panels later he's jumping out of a SHIELD helicarrier from 30,000 ft. Huh?

I liked the Howard the Duck story. Didn't take itself seriously and I thought it was pretty funny. Loved Venom. For the last few years the character has been on a decline in my eyes, now he's returned in all his green drool splendor. As for Walker, he's always been a lap dog and always will be for me. At least we got to see the rebelious and badass side of him in this issue. Since the preview art I had no doubts in my mind that USAgent would be on the team because the US requested it. I think Arachne will be offered a chance to redeem herself and she'll take it. Probably so she'll be free to live with her daughter. Oh I liked the Iron Fist story myself. Nice to see Danny struggle a little about losing his identity, something I'd thought about since for the entire CW he's been in someone else's tights. Is anyone else interested in The Immortal Iron Fist? I am definitely gonna pick it up. Brubaker is an excellent writer and now with him getting the chance to take on his fav character I think it'll be stellar.

But she didnt do anything wrong. The only thing she didnt do was sign the SRA it was just infortunate that she got caught and if I was her I would be real pissed that they came between me and my kids. Since there are at least 4 Spider Women maybe one of them should turn bad and maybe, just maybe it should be Arachne.

Didn't do anything wrong? Other than tip of offenders of a federal law, aidding and abbeting Shroud and assaulting a registered hero? She's plenty guilty for me. If she truly misunderstood what the SRA was all about then she should have bolted as soon as she realized what she signed up for, not try to use her knowledge to help offenders

Any one think non-trusting-Tony has a device to shut Spidey down, locked inside that outfit?
Or would Spidey have sensed that and not put it on?
I like the idea that he has to get out of it and back into his classic colours... and the idea of whuppin' Tony's turncoat-ass.
Yup. 99% sure Tony built some sort of failsafe into the suit. I'm also pretty sure that since Peter is wearing the suit when Tony attacks him that he looked over the costume (as he said he would 2 issues ago) and that he found and removed whatever devices were there
dollars to donuts there is some sort of override, but hey then again maybe there isnt cuz we know that tony can interface directly with all machinery now, so he can literally just tell it to shut down or tell it to be a giant data recorder to ascertain spidey's weaknesses and strentghs.. as for arachne im really looking forward to her daughter growing up and become a villainess who takes revenge on the feds..hey this is how these things normally work😄...i just bet we're gonna learn that her meta gene was passed down or she got a blood transfusion that gave her powers, like maybe in the next five years

😆 well, it won't be something like that, but i agree it'll be a very safe, fail-safe device
