Meh, I think it's obvious that Cap's side is gonna win. And obviously, I'm with Cap all the way on the issue.
However, that said, I REALLY hope Stark's side wins a CLEAR and DECISIVE victory. Cap winning would be too cliche, too obvious, and would have absolutely NO reprecussions throughout the Marvel Universe. Everything would go back to how it was before the civil war.
Tony winning, however, would change everything. 😱

I agree with the second half of your post. I also hope Tony's side definitively wins cause that would mean sweeping changes to the entire MU. I don't think there is a clear cut winner at this point though. Sure right now Cap's side is portrayed as right and Tony's as wrong I think in the future we'll see something of a reversal of that.

Its understandable why heroes would have to reveal their secret identities, however basically forcing heroes to join S.H.E.I.L.D. and join teams under the Fifty State Inititive, not to mention the whole, jailing American citizens without a trial or anything like that.

I even WANT it to end that way. Emotionally, I know that Captain America's side is right. Maybe not the full extent, but still. He's a whole lot 'righter' than Tony.
However, I still think it would be FAR more interesting for Tony's Pro-registration side to win. Just imagine the reprecussions in comparison.

well however its gonna end, it wont hasten the repair of all those friendships cuz the preview of the mighty avengers that will start in january, that came out a few months ago in wizard is only showing the members consisting of pro regs...mayba cap will still have his own team then, or maybe he'll take it back to the roots and fight secret, evil shadowy empires again
I think if Tony's side wins, it would be better for Marvel. I mean, we'd have to check out every issue just to see how Spider-Man's life is now that he's switched sides, how it changes him, and everything. We'd have to see, basically, how everyone's life is changed now that they're either an outlaw or answering to the government. Especially when names of some heroes who registered get "lost" and stuff to villains. It really shakes up the whole Marvel universe. So, even though I'm rooting for Cap, I really think that Tony's side should win, to make the comics a little more interesting for the reader.
Also, what the heck is going on? I thought Millar said no "no-namers" or whatever were going to be killed off - that some big named people were going to die, and this would have HUGE effects on the whole 616 universe. But, last time I checked, just because Black Goliath is supposed to be a big guy - it didn't make him a BIG NAME. So when does someone like Tony Stark, Matt Murdock, or Reed Richards get killed?
And I know this has nothing to do with Civil War, but the whole "Hawkeye getting killed off once a year like Kenny from South Park" thing is really retarded.

Good sweeping changes. Definitely more effective changes than HoM I'd say. Besides HoM was more of an editor taking an opportunity to fix something that he thought was broken. CW however is a fresh idea proposing alot of new ideas and thoughts and the outcome presents serious reprecussions in the future.

Well the Pro guys have a clone Thor, She-Hulk, Ms Marvel, Sentry, Wonderman and Iron Man. Plus they have all the really smart guys on their side so any tech duex ex machinas will most likely come from their camp
