Artists Discovered On MySpace

I think this thread is a neat idea, considering there are easily hundreds of bands on MySpace Music and nobody has the time to hunt them all down, so it's nice to see what other people find good for consideration.

Anyways, can't say I've really found many bands. Get Vegas! and Pistolero and Burn Proper are some musical acts I downloaded from MySpace when I found them. Also have a friend, Matt Lawrence, that makes his own electronica music for listening on MySpace Music. Fun stuff.

Laura - an Australian band, well a friend told me to look on myspace for the band... I've never actually found a band, I always go onto it with the name or music label and go on from there.

You almost assuredly will not find anyone worthwhile using MySpace, well, not anyone primarily using any of these like minded website services to promote themselves.

Places like this are a waste land when it comes to looking for new, genuinely talented bands/artists.

I really like(d) Gone 'Til November.

They split up and the lead singer lists the music as her own, now, but it's the same music.

I love/discovered Fair To Midland via Myspace. "Kyla Cries Cologne" is amazing.
