Superman would not move at slow speeds for an entire day and get busted up in the process. They were both fighting at pretty fast speeds for pretty much the whole fight. Superman could run at least that of mach 3 to mach 5 in the early 90s. Doomsday has superspeed, sheesh.

That's what I was wondering. If it was DOS or HP DD, what would happen?

It didn't work on Venom and those versions of DD are just as mindless as a symbiote so it wouldn't work IMO.
