thanks. But I think most teams have their strategies (and picks) already figured out.

Besides, most of those aren't available until rounds 2-3

so i didnt read the rules toooo closely...sue me.(thanks for tellin me)

Well im not too good with magic or matter manipulators....does someone have Elixr? and Mr.X??? those would be the 2 best i could come up with without research, and....oh shit!!!!

For magic...someone should get Frau Totenkinder, or the Snow Queen, Baba Yaga would also be pretty sweet....

runner tapped into the gem like all the elders did -- he did so unconsciously though. he appeared in quasar a couple times without the gem. makarri beat him in a race. he'd be questionable in my book, but i'd okay him without the gem. already been too many bans, imo. 😬

always funny listening to people complain about picks that are certainly below thanos . . .

Runner is at least equal to Thanos.

i'd say the speed gives him his advantage -- but give thanos ss's speed and he's demolish runner, imo. durability-wise, runner has no real feats to speak of and thanos alone likely had a better showing against galactus than all the elders combined. ss himself defeated a couple of them 1on1 (obliterator and champion). i don't really care one way or the other, just saying, people keep forgetting how much wriggle room there is between herald and thanos. i think an elder would fit nicely in that category.

I think Champion would fit in... but not Runner or Grand Master ... not sure about the others.

champ would for sure. they are all typically depicted as equals, as well. grandmaster would be an interesting pick. be hard finding feats for him to justify one way or the other, but an avenegers/west coast avengers arc had some good grandmaster 'stuff'. seriously, i think an elder could pretty easily be justified. IF you want to run the risk of finding material . . .

At the moment my only problem may be that I have too much material.

then he realizes....WHOA i was running faster than normal....he didnt realize his gem did anything because hes an idiot. The runners gem was warpin reality around the runner.

The Runner beat thanos only because of speed, but without the gem, and because of the cap on light speed, The runner should be a completley legal choice.

And someone better pick up one of the characters i named....and anyone who thinks Superman is a brick...is an idiot. Superman is a brick but Thor is all around???this place sickens me with its favoritsm at times.

Huh?

Runner had the space gem. The one that teleports. It did not affect his running speed, which was the only thing he used against Thanos.

it did effect his speed, he even said it himself, that he was arriving places before he remembered leaving.

It was warpin space around him, re-read the damn books and then shut the **** up

Ok so who is everyone's final picks for the first round again?

We have The Silver Squirrel Girl.

Superman is a brawler which the second wound is. So bricks aren't the onlt things going i n there. Besides Superman has no energy or matter manip to speak of while Thor has plenty of it which is why Thor is an all rounder in my book while Superman is just a brawler(All physical)

but what about heat vision, cold and tornado breath, superspeed, all that stuff... superman is much an allrounder as anyone else imo... 😬

For now he's the A-Team van ... sure he's fast, tough, reliable and can blind people with his hi-beams ... but, until he starts turning off people's TV's from the parking lot, he's no KITT.

Hope that cleared things up for ya.

that is the most f*cked up yet strangely logical analogy i have ever read...

and i think he has more to him than that... he's a genius too, with an incredible scientific mind...

i think the term 'brick' is a bit unfair...

ya, anyone who calls scoob a brick is definitely being unfair -- to bricks all over the world!
