I will announce the Area in which people are fighting ahead of time in this thread the day before the scheduled match. So you better constantly keep watch on this thread to see what area you have.
Teams will receive the opposing team's list of names, but no more.
Prep-time will consist of two hours on the battlefield and with teammates.
1. To prevent premature fighting, the battlefield is split in two, right down the middle
• The battlefield is split into two making it impossible for teams to spy on one another via any means.
The battlefield changes time of day/climate/location for every battle, but remains a constant 100 square miles
(I changed it from 10 miles to 100 miles)
Battlefields are devoid of humans, but retain a natural abundance of common materials and animals
Battlefield removals are non-existant. You can teleport around the battlefield, but you cannot leave it or force your opponent to leave it.
Normaly, there will be a 24 hour time period for battles. A new thread will be created for each match of the tournament.
All tournament participants (except those fighting) are required to vote in matches and after the 24 hour time period is over, then whomever has the most votes on the for their team wins.
You are welcome to submit a "write-up" to me before your battle in a PM. "Write-ups" is your teams strategy on how they are going to win. I will post the write-ups of whichever competitor submits them.
I do not require you to submit a write-up.
I will post the Typhus vs Stormfront13 match area later tonight.
EDIT:
I'd like to remind everyone about the "team friction" rule.
NEW RULE!
• “Team Friction”: Magneto and Wolverine & the X-Men will not happily work side by side here. Batman and the Joker would never ever work together. If two people on your team have a grudge/history of fighting, they will automatically start to fight each other on the battlefield. You can have good and evil on the same team but you will need a reason why they should work together, if the reason is good enough there will be no team friction. Team friction will reduce how effectively you can fight your opponent. Your team members will be busy fighting, arguing, and getting in eachothers way instead of fighting your opponent. Any damage they get from fighting each other will carry on into battle once it begins.
