Hey guys I just got off work and I'm free till the 2nd!!!🍺bandpilepartytimeWell, personally I would prefer this to be a basicly heroic group. I could see adding people like Magneto or Black Adam since I could really see them as more mislead heroes than villains. The founders can put it to a vote to see if we allow villains thou.
I vote no. IMO!

You copy the addresses of the pages and post you've posted on and paste them to the reply on this post. I really can't think of how to describe it very acuratlly thou. I am more of a visual type teacher/learner. I think that may help you.
I agree with Darth, we should be composed of character aiming for the greater good or, good in general!
And oh...

To post a link, just go to the page you want people to start on, and then copy the link from the address bar at the top of the page. Then just paste it to your post, and it will make a link.
What he said.
I think the Illuminati would allow a character with a shady past to join their ranks, on certain terms. If it would be an obvious boon to them, I think they would allow them to join.
The kind of evils the Illuminati was created to deal with transcends the concept of day-to-day evil. Thanos wouldnt be joining them, but perhaps Magneto, or even someone a bit darker.
If this is accepted, would I be allowed to change the character I'm repping?

Yea that is kinda what I said. It would go with our the ends do justify the means theme. I think we should allow anti-heroes like Darth said but not villains. So people like say Magneto and maybe even Black Adam would be alright. IMO
Just check with the other founder to see if a character is within the type we want. As for your changing character... If you really want to change character then, as far as myself you are free to do so but, I really like the idea of having Fury on the Illuminati team. Just think of the extra pull and skill he brings to the table.
Hey everyone I think I am gonna head out for awhile but, I should be back on later tonight and I know I will be here allot for the next week or so since I'm free till the 2nd.
With the exception of Christmas and New Years Eve.
Maybe New Years Day too, depends on how hungover I am and weather or not I got a chic to stay over. devil2

who would you swap for?
I have a couple ideas, but some are blatantly out of the boundaries. Which I'm alright with. I like the idea of characters having to meet specfic requirments to join a team.
Joker, for instance, who is a brilliant criminal genius, and powerful, is too villainous, (and insane) for me to consider.
Mr. Sinister would be interesting. He isnt that 'villainous', just a manipulative b******. But, most of what he's done has been with an ulterior motive. Cloning Jean, and their son (to kill apocalypse). Helping Gambit out (to copy powers of another, and to call on Gambit later) and a couple other things like that. That, and he's a genius. And powerful, both in a powerful position, and his power set in general. In fact, alot of it is similair to Martian Manhunter. He just lacks that level of strength (he's like class 10 ), that range of TP or the speed.
Then I thought of Baron Zemo. Now theres a powerful choice for you. With the moonstones, he's easily a team wrecker. Possible a JLA-level team wrecker. And, as the head of his Thunderbolts, he's a certified leader. For the added touch, he's reformed from a villain to become an anti-hero, so he should fit the standards. However, I wouldnt know enough about the limits of his powers to be good enough to rep him, IMO.
For the time being though, I'll stick with Fury. I know enough about him, he's also brilliant (everyone that I named is) and he is in one hell of a seat of power. With favors owed from half of the super powered population, and respected by all of it. I'm all right with Fury.
