Oh, yeah, here are the basic "default" rules for a low level match. Just let me know if there's anything you want to change for our match.

UNDER Spiderman is the general rule for character selection.

Fight's take place in a demolition zone of a generic city. Thus, there are all the typical surroundings of an urban enviorment, but there are no civilians present.

Each combatant starts off in the middle of a 2 lane street facing each other, approximatly 25 feat appart. So they DO start off in each others sights, but they are surrounded by things like small trees, mailboxes, and abandoned buildings they could use for cover.

They characters get NO prep time to ready things like weapons.

10 post limit for each participant.

You can choose first. I'll need a second to think about a strategy.

And one quick question: What are the rules pertaining to gear, armor etc. ?

Tell you guys what, I'm probably going to be to busy to devote much time to this because of batdude's tourney, so why don't you guys have a match, and I can take someone on after my tourney run is over(I can take on the winner or something). Like that, I'll be able to oversee you guys match and make any necessary judgement calls. If your both OK with it, you can even PM your picks to me, that way the selection process is fair(because neither of you can just pick a character who'd beat the other ones most recent pick). How does that sound?

I really won't be able to devote much time to it until this weekend thou.
I would be all over it Friday but, me and some friends are going to see Charlie Murphy from Chappelle show @ Zanies.

But if your still interested I will be up for it Sat and Sun.
I am only able to get on for a hour or two normally after work during the week. If I am going to do this I want to do it right.

That's one of the reasons why I started that forum, that way people could participate in these kinds of things whenever they wanted, and not be constrained by other people's timetables. Around here, you have to wait months in between tourney's and someone else decides what power level the tourney's at, and any rules that are in effect. Over at my place, you pretty much decide every aspect of the matches at hand. Default rules are in place, but if everyone agrees those can be waved, and new rules can be in effect for the matches at hand.
