Were ODG and others actually arguing that Thanos oouldn't have done some of the things he did without the IG.. He's never matter manipulated before? Come on.. he's done so without the Gems... He's never teleported? False again.. he's teleported with and without tech. He just prefers to use tech as it isn't as disorienting. Just like he can use the PC when he wants.. just doesn't like to because it makes him crazy. All the things he did with IG he has done under his own power. He depowered himself to make it more of a fight.. ONe could interrupt it as him only using the PG which just further amps his power. Its funny how people claim he was using all the IG's power and was getting hit by various chumps throughout the story. Yet when he SPECIFICALLY says he's now going to use them all... the tanks blows and one shots abstracts.. Hmmmmmm

False... first you claimed he couldn't matter manipulate and you were shown times of him doing so. You then backed off of that claim. Then you claimed he couldn't teleport.. then you were shown scans of him doing so with and without his chair. As pointed out earlier.. all eternals can teleport it just requires mental concentration and practice. Thanos has CLEARLY stated he doesn't like doing so without tech because it's too much work and cause disorientation. I believe though you backed off this claim. The only thing you have left to claim that Thanos couldn't do under his own power is open a portal or time stream manipulation. You were shown scans of Thanos manipulating time with Surfer WITHOUT his chair being that his chair can't open portals nor control time. So.. all of the above instances have been mostly proven. Granted someone might interrupt the time manipulation is various ways but it's just as reasonable that it's proof. The point is he's done most if not all of those things without the Gems and we all know the PG ALONE could enhance those things further.
What is even funnier is to asusme he was tapping all the gems power just not seeing in the future and using sensory input and getting smacked around by meta humans, low to high heralds while using and tapping the gems. Yet, he SPECIFICALLY says he's going to use them now and goes on to WTFPWN abstract after abstract with ease and in one shot. Yet was using them and tapping them and getting knocked around by metas LOL. Give me a fing break. When did logic and reason go out the window man?
^ When did I ever claim Thanos could never matter manipulate? Who cares whether Thanos can teleport. He couldn't teleport in Infinity Gauntlet. Try reading the story. And Thanos never manipulated time without the chair. The point is, Thanos said he was "cut[ting] off all sensory input" and he had "dampened his cosmic senses."
Keep asking yourself that question. Or learn to read English: "cut off all sensory input," "dampened comsic senses."

Yet you use Superman operating at full ie speedblitzing everytime(something he doesnt all ways do), yet its not ok to do the same for Thanos, using him at full capacity reacting to attacks straight away.

I still stand by what I said: he is slow. A few times being able to hit or blast a fast enemy during a vague fight does not equal having FTL speed or reflexes.
Especially when nobody refers to Thanos as being fast. Not Thanos himself, not his enemies, not the writers, not his neighbours. The two times he was speed blitzed (Runner and Gamora) he was helpless and couldn't do a thing.

Odin can take away peoples power with a gesture and grant incredible power to mere non powered beings. (Thor level beings too). And Thor can give Thanos a good fight. He can cause objects to not be lifted (takes arguably infinite power to do this). He can manipulate time and space like its his play thing. I can go on.
