Thanos vs Superman

Wow really...... does Thanos need to choke a *****? (anyway this should close due to spite against supes or the fact this is done many times or the simple fact it is hia8)

Casually one-shotting Doomsday (the same Doomsday that shrugged off the OE and tanked the Astro Force) isn't impressive? Destroying worlds and Galaxies isn't impressive?

Having the capacity to destroy the Universe isn't impressive?

Galactus could casually destroy all of earth's heroes while extremely weakened so how does beating Dd mean anything?

His potential was to release this power but since he didn't and since in combat he didn't release anywhere near this power I fail to see what was so impressive. Based on combat feats Odin blows Imperiex out of the water.

How about curbstomping 100,000 Daxamites (under a yellow sun)?

Is that it?

Do you think Thanos could pull that off?

That's irrelevant.

No, its central to your delusions. You seem to believe Imperiex to be a peer of Odin and we all know you think Thanos>Odin. So do you think Thanos could replicate Imperiex's feat?

And here is Thanos showing he can react to Thors hammer and stop it if he wanted to instead of letting it hit him.

Just asking, isn't that a Thanos clone?

I said by feats but I don't like to debate based off of feats alone.

That's still irrelevant.

No, that pic is from Captain Marvell V3#17-#19, the clone was the one from Thor v2#21-#25

It's the walker arc.

Superman can bring Supergirl, Powergirl and Connor to help him and he would still get stomped.

Thanos 10/10.

Odin has never had the power to destroy a Universe. Nor is Thanos Odin's superior or even his peer.

Bait thread.

gotta text from shokozugi. he says superman doesnt need to be sundipped to take out thanos. if he can take on darkseid than thanos shouldnt be a problem

Lmao so now Odin could beat Imperiex and we all know Thanos could beat Odin....

lol, but you guys would be suprised, on almost all forums besides this one people say superman would win

not that i agree.

Comicvine for example. I tried to show them the light, but they just called me a troll.

The point is... Thanos reaction speed is certainly enough to tag superman... His hammer stopping feat, surfer dodging feat, His backhanding a point blank blast from The maker, The Fallen One, Stopping Ganymede speed blitz.. etc etc. These all show he can deal with speed, and even though not a speedster himself, has good reaction speed. Furthermore, that isn't even needed really.. a few omni directional blasts and it's game over for supes.
