You know, when Thanos says that, that's just words. Thanos has yet to prove he is stronger than let's say an enraged Savage Hulk. No, the writer was just writing dialogue, nothing more. Or what about all the writers who write in their own dialogues "Hulk is strongest there is" ?
Let's just throw all that out of the window shall we, because one writer, without backing it up, puts some words in Thanos words, words that can be considered as macho talk, or hyperbole, or whatever.
When Thor says: Nobody can beat the mighty God of Thunder, son of Odin. => do you consider this a fact, just a dialogue or just macho talk ?
Still being dense I see…… It WASN'T just words it was also ACTION. He said this as he was totally overpowering two very strong class 100 guys like they were nothing. He was treating them as they were children and he was a man. The writer… the artist were making this crystal clear by not only words but actions. Is this not true?
Originally posted by KuRuPT ThanosiBy your own Logic Despero woild be way stronger than Thanos but, you consistently insist the Thanos is stronger. Despero did the same thing to Multiple High Heralds at once and yet you said Thanos was stronger than DESPERO. So why is it that this logic train of yours works for Thanos but not despero.

Well let me clear up this misunderstanding... I believe Despero and Thanos are very comparable strength wise. I happen to believe Thanos is slightly stronger but really they could be even or despero have the slight edge. That doesn't matter to me, as it's not strength that would determine the winner between the two. I think you interrupted me saying Thanos win to me he's out of this world stronger than Despero and I don't. Despero's durability is what would be his down fail against Thanos. So, I just wanted to correct that little tid bit right there.. .I believe they are comparable strength wise.

In Infinity Gauntlet #5 an unmad, thinking Hulk along with that Thor stand in are easily restraining Thanos whos actively fighting their effort to hold him. They accomplish this with one hand each .
In Warlock and the Infinity Watch #8 Drax has Thanos in a full nelson that he cant get out of until Gamora helps him out.

Thanos can own surfer.see where this is going?
Going by who they defeat?
I believe is the worst approach you can have
Character are divided into tiers but not power tiers, but popularity tiers
There are cannon fodder characters like Gladiator and Champion and then there is main characters Like Thor, SS and Thanos
Feats on the "physical" universe are better to massure IMO
IF SS survives a Black Hole it means He can survice a Black hole
If SS survives a Thanos PIMP SLAP, it means SS can survice a Thanos PIMP slap, BUT IF Captain America survives a Thanos pimp slap Does that means CA is as Durable as SS?
I'm sure CA CANNOT SURVIVE A BLACK HOLE SS DOES.
And I do not agree with you. SS has the worst inconsistency in the whole comic world, Sometimes He seems even more powerful than Galactus and He is supposed to have only 1% of REGULAR Galactus, not even Highly Feed.
The other day I re-read Silver Surfer vs GL comic, Are you aware that GL AND SS Absorbed enough energy to destroy 2 universes!
Thank God that thing is not canon, because otherwise We will have Surfer fans claiming that Surfer is more powerful than Galactus.
and Surfer> Supes? Yes by how much according to you?

I can give examples of top tiers stalemating Superman who has Thanos been unable to beat, top tiers mind you?
What's been made up?
Superman’s infinite mass puch VS THE SHADOW MOON
According to Batman and GL the Shadow moon was a celestial body of 81 billion tons traveling at 7,614.000.00 km/h
Superman needed to PULVERIZE the body
So this is F=MA
If I’m correct (because I’m not a NASA scientist) It will require 171,315,000,000,000,000 newtons to move this obeject at that speed.
How hard did Superman have to hit this body in order to pulverize it?
This feat means that Superman not only matched the force to move the moon at 7,614.000.00 km/h but He also overcame that force with such a great power that He PULVERIZE the object.
Is not a hyperbole

Actually, Mcduffie the writer of that story said he meant for it to be 80 billion billion tons which I think is what he thinks the actual moon weighs.
Thats why Hardware says the shadow moon has the same mass as the real moon.
So that number would be higher
