And thats just the hosts of which there are many in the multiverse at once. The full Phoenix Force is multiversal and way beyond Eternity.

Eternitys a universe, the kind of which the forces top hosts can easily destroy and manipulate.

Eternity states on panel himself that without the force he would not exist, its power and role facilitate his creation every universal life cycle.

i would say the phoenix outclasses eternity indefinitely
the fact that she ensues the cosmic rebirth cycle, it's pretty evident that she reigns superior to him
not even necessarily a phoenix fan
just going off the scans and what has been stated numerous times

and if i can recall, she preserved galaan until he could meet with the prior universes version of a dying eternity to merge and become galactus

She got her wings clipped by Thor. She's the spark of recreation, not the creator. Eternity is everything in creation. Oblivion is the end of creation.

Thor isn't even on Eternity's level and he still clipped the birds wing. Remember when the Shi'Ar guns blew it up? Or when Xorn used a planets energy to kill it? The Phoenix Force jobs more than Eternity.

also wasn't Big G shown to be equivalent to Eternity and Death?

Big G is the result of a humanoid alien and the old Eternity merging. Phoenix did not give Galan his status as Galactus, the previous Eternity did.

in this particular instance, the handbook is wrong. (this isn't a special case btw)

This is the incident you're referring too. It's not the Phoenix Force since it is not the sentience of the universe. Eternity is the sentience of the universe.
