from donnie darko i think, i may be wrong, but i can tell you i love donnie darko my fav movie, it looks like hes the guy in the middle of the4 sig, but its slightly hard to tell

Yup, I have had advice from you and allot of other terrific sig makers and artists, but no tuts.

your stuff is looking great. I like your new sig, its awesome. I like your style and one likes your current because is just not an image on an background its almost like its portraying a/the story.

Thanks, yours are getting very good too.

I use images allot like this to give the sig a real "painting" feel.

Nah cos Eclipso's stuff is quite one-dimensional (no offence meant) i've tried to get him to use different styles but he ignores me.

Not everyone wants a 3-D look. As I said in my newest one I wanted it to look like more of a painting. Not everyone has the same taste in sig style. Just because someone gives a suggestion doesn't mean I am obligated to go along with it.

He means one-dimensional as in it's flat, there's no depth to it at all, not that it should look 3-d.

Creating depth is one of the first things that people usually learn to do while making sigs. Even a real painting, which you say your sig is meant to resemble, will have depth to it.

And your sig would probably look nicer if you didn't use that glow effect around the people. It doesn't make them blend in at all, it makes them stick out like sore thumbs as well as making them look too blurry. Please, ditch the glow effect and just cut things out more precisely, it'll go a long way for making your sigs look better.

Actually,the glowing effect in the background is ment to give a misty feel to it. And the dark effect aroudn them is ment to give a dark and mysterious look.

I've actually gotten allot of complements on it and your statements are you opinion, not fact written in stone.

Yes but that doesn't mean I have to agree with you or take those suggestions. I'm actually quite happy with my recent work and allot of people are as well.

Eclipso. I have you ignored, but when I saw Lana's posts, I had to jump in. I have to put this in here:

You're just getting rated by idiots who can't rate. No offense to them.

Lana is THE best signature maker on the forum. Just because little 13 year olds, or you get the occasional 8.... Doesn't make it a good sig, it just makes it appealing to little kids.

Take her advice, it's true. You could make better sigantures.'

Although, you're right... It's just the opinion of us experianced Sig makers who have been doing it for a long time now.

Vinny, what one group of people view as right does not mean everyone will. It's sad that people feel they need to belittle anyone who dissagrees with them. In the end what matters in my sig making the most is that i am happy with the result, and if a few others are, then thats just a bonus.

And no I do not share Lana's preference in tecyhnique or style.

And again, do not insult people in my thread by calling them idiots or 13 year olds simply because they don't share your opinion. You have been warned about it before. You've had your say and I suggest you leave it at that or you will be reported again.

The thing is, that the people here who rated your signatures may not be 13 year olds, but may really be people who don't know how to make a good signature. Lana tried to give you a tip, and as I see you take criticism really hard. Just try what Lana told you, and i'm just sure that you'll like your result. Lana is one of the best signature makers here, as 'Vinny' said so I find her tip should be remembered and atleast given a try? If she's so good at it, and makes better sigs then you, then why? Because she follows the advice that she is trying to pass on to you. I'm far from a good sig maker, but just saying, i'm still learning.
