Hyperstorm is amalgam of a Celestial and Phoenix Force. 🙂

How so? 😕

He's the son of the ultimate celestial creation on Earth (Franklin) and Rachel (Phoenix Avatar). I doubt that counts as an analgam because he didn't show any sign of tapping into the Phoenix Force.

And various incarnations of the Phoenix have varying degrees of power. A well-fed Galactus could destroy most of them, though. Hell, the most famed is Dark Phoenix and she never did anything even halfway as impressive as Galactus. The Phoenix before that beat down Firelord (whoo...above Herald-level) and Rachel's Phoenix beat a hungry Galactus.

That's about it. Phoenix isn't that much.

Franklin at full potential is said to be Celestial level. Just because Hyperstorm is related to him that doesnt give anyone justification to count a Celestial as a fraction of the sum that is Hyperstorm. Thats illogical and unsupported.

Rachel wielded the Phoenix Force, she was able to tap into it, she wasnt one and the same as the Phoenix Force. Rachel being his mother doesnt then make the entire Phoenix Force a fraction of the sum that is Hyperstorm.

Phoenixes do have varying degrees of power, just like many beings do, be they mutants, gods or cosmics. LT's had bad showings, so has Eternity so has Galactus, however its their top showings which count in debate as here on the forums we look at their abilities and hypothesize a matchup based on said abilities being employed at the best theyve been shown to be capable of free of the PIS/CIS thats often the cause for said characters' bad showings.

Jean being killed by Wolverine, or by an alien weapon through plot device doesnt take away from the fact that she has eaten stars, cut away timelines and manipulated universes down to the atomic level.

Ashema the Listener said Celestials respect Franklin. In regards to Galactus and Hyperstorm, didn't prove conclusively who's the greater force. Galactus couldn't stop Rachel. 🙂

The Celestials respecting Franklin is irrelevant. Hyperstorm is not Franklin. Being Franklins son doesnt mean that Franklin and all of his abilities are possessed by Hyperstorm.

Galactus defeating Hyperstorm and using him as a personal energy source resulting in Hyperstorm never being seen or heard from again equals complete stompage. It doesnt get more conclusive than that. Hyperstorm was defeated and manipulated with no difficulty whatsoever.

Youre right Rachel did defeat Galactus. Rachel is NOT the same as the Phoenix Force. She merely taps into it. If the Silver Surfer had a kid would that child possess the sum total of all Power Cosmic because its Surfers child? 😕

See my point? Hyperstorm was Rachels child, doesnt in any way, shape or form translate into the Phoenix Force being a part of Hyperstorm.

Thats awful logic. 😬
