Not to mention, the scans you posted are VERY one sided. That Captain America was a very inexperienced one. The fight with Iron Fist ended with T'Challa using a cheap method to victory, and being knocked out anyways. His vibranium microweave suit having been SHREDDED by the Iron Fist.
I've never seen an agility or speed feat that I couldn't see Daredevil, Captain America, or Batman pulling off just as well or better.
I've never seen a skill feat that put any of Capt's to shame.
I've never even seen a SPEED feat that was incredibly impressive.
Nor have I seen any intelligence feats that justify you placing him on the same mantle as Reed and Doom.
And I suppose I'm just a racist bigot because I read comics and can tell the differences between one character and another, 🙄 .

For one, its a fictional medium, full of aliens and cyborgs, and lots of things that are on the artists/creators mind. Wether or not you are really being serious (becuase i swear you are just kidding, regardless this is an issue i feel strongly about, beyond comics), i dont doubt that thier are some people who genuinely feel this way. And to some extent, i can understand, but at the same time you need to understand the creators Intent.
Are creators intentionally banning "people of color" simply because of that? Thier may be one, or two whos creations may infact be influenced by some sort of racial biggotry, but come on, its 2007. Ide like to give the comic book industry (& the human race) the benifit of the dobut -- especially when they have given no obvious reasons to say otherwise. It goes WELL beyond black people. Why arent their many punjabi (india) comic book superheros? Why arent thier many Vietnamese comic book heros? Why arent thier many "native amerian" comic book heros? Why should a creator be obligated to ration out his creations to each race? .. most importantly, Why cant ones work be taken for face value without questioning ones personal opinions (unless they are clearly being implied)
This spills into a much larger disgussion and to get into that would absolutely drain me, but the point im trying to make is that at the end of the day, it is a comic book character from someones imagination. Hey, if an artist wants to include a variety of ethnic groups? more power to you. But should you critisize the industry becuase they arent "catering" to a speciffic race or affiliation? Personally, i dont think you should, your certianly entitled to, but then you would be setting our progress as humans back a couple hundred years. Art (and by art i mean the entire concept of art, not just pictures) should be taken as the artist intended it, a beautiful, enjoyable thing. It shuold not be picked apart because perhaps the creator "forgot" to put a couple asians and a black guy in it. And this, coming from a black person (myself)
I apologize if this sounds harsh at all, i just feel really strongly about things like this.
