It's within her abilities. In character, no she probably wouldn't do it unless it was necessary.

But Shadowcat will kill if necessary.

How is Nightcrawler not a factor in this fight? Bamf, grab head, bamf, Hulk no longer has a head. AoA style. Absolutley nothing stopping Kurt from doing this. And no way Hulk is fast enough to stop him from doing that.
