rasengan vs. chidori (one-thousand birds)

lol well when he was fighting them he dont wanna kill naruto cause he has a bijuu in him lol sasuke is itachi's little brother so its good practice and plus he was prepared wit naruto and kakashi he wasnt he just got done wit garaa than the process of taking the bijuu out...... sasuke wont win he will get help from the his partners

sasuke is DEAD?!?!?!?! whered u get that? its just diedara stating that he can SUPPOSEDLY counter shaaringan genjutsu, nothing much, sasuke hasnt even shown any of the more powerful jutsus hes learnt from urochimaru. plus diedara is until now, one of the strongest akatsuki.

Interestingly enough. I dunno about Shippuden, though. It kind of annoys me. The power levels of the characters are extremely inconsistent, Diedeira case in point. It seemed as if he barely beat Gaara, losing an arm and 99% of his clay in the process, yet he easily beats (Admittedly) godly powerful people like Sasuke and Kakashi. And, again. Sasuke manages to beat Orichimaru, that's odd. The first Naruto seasons were pretty bad though, as well. What with Kakashi falling for that water shield trick when fighting Zabuza. Yet, when Kisame and Itachi fight him Itachi states that the two of them together couldn't beat Kakashi, and even with more men the result wouldn't change.

Naruto's characters are all gods one minute, and then pathetic weaklings the next...

if you think about it the only people to survive chidori are jinchurikki or how ever you spell it garra would have died the first time if sasuke had hit a vital spot

Oh.. right... meaning he survived it.

Well Gaara has his shields that are hard to get past and he still beats him with them. Also Kakashi isn't insanely powerful just really smart and strong, and he's pulling out everything he can to take one Sasuke though it's going back and forth. Also Orochimaru was weak at the time and bedridden when Sasuke beat him.

Also didn't Itachi beat Kakashi with just the Tsukiyomi or whatever it was? I thought they left when Gai came because they didn't want to cause anymore attention to themselves. Also I thought they said they couldn't take on Jiriaya? Cause I remember them running from Jiraiya after torturing Sasuke though I could be mistaken about that. Course Itachi using his sharigan weakens him also.

Yeah, I think it might have been Jiraiya, for some reason I always get that particular scenario wrong.

when did he say this?

All Itachi said was the outcome would not be good from such a battle, he also didnt want to draw attention as they surely would have been killed.

Rasengan is better, it's been proven many times. Oh, and once completed it's definately better.

did you read wat i said before you posted this garra is a jinkurikki or however you spell it

Right, and as we all know the Chidori, for however "powerful" it's supposed to be, fails against anyone with any sort of special powers, fails miserably, matter of fact.

it failed to kill jinkurikki most of the jinkurikki have the ability to heal its user. rasengan hit kabuto who has regen and he still had the ability to summon manda the king of all snakes so i guess if your gonna act like that rasengan fails to do the same(kill someone with special powers)

It almost killed Kakuzu who was close to immortal.

then again chidori actually killed Kakuzu

He was too weak to move man. Personally I would've just stabbed him with a kunai to achieve the same result. And when Kakashi Chidoried him before it only destroyed one heart, when Naruto Rasenganed him it blew out like two.

but it was a totally diffrent raengan

Still Rasengan.🙂

YouTube video

Notice the traits of the Rasengan. Also note that

A) Kabuto partially blocked it

B) Naruto was low on Chakara and injured before he did this.

Yet, it pwnts'd Kabuto 50 feet, leaving a crater in the boulder and a trench in the ground. How can the Chidori compare to the Rasengan when it does this at only half-strength? Also note that Kabuto is completely surrounded in the Rasengans energy bubble. Another advantage the Rasengan has over the Chidori is that it damages you all over your entire body, while the Chidori only damages the immediate point of impact, this why is next to impossible to kill someone with the Chidori, it'll only work if it hits them in a vital spot such as there head or heart, any ware else and the opponent will just keep fighting.

Yung222 can cry as much as he wants that Kabuto summoned something afterwards, but the fact of the matter is that Kabuto didn't immediately get up and sock Naruto in the face, or anybody for that matter. He stumbled home, defeated, like the loser he is. Also, Kabuto has the ability to regenerate, like Naruto, but after getting hit with the Rasengan Kabuto's regen abilities didn't work.

While inconsistencies will always be present in any comic/media where power sets of characters are observed, you underestimate Gaara. Gaara is kazekage for a reason, think about that fight with diedera. No one would have been able to defeat gaara unless they had a plot device jutsu up their sleeve to take care of him such as the one he had. And the only way to counter his sand was with speed during the chunnin exams. He only won because of his microscopic bombs which gaara could not see there for he lost like any ninja would have. The only reason he won, i use the word he a lot because i have no idea how to spell Dedeiras name, is because of his plot device technique which was able to penetrate gaara's absolute defence and damage him. He hardly easily beat kakashi and its not like he is having an easy time with sasuke, I think we all know who will win that fight.

Its no big deal Kakashi got traped in the water bubble, he was rather exhausted, it was part of the plot and it was like the 10th episode lol. Also it is fair to assume Kakashi has gotten stronger in shippuden, I doubt he just hanged around town for those 3 years, his seal speed as shown in the 4th episode as an example.

Orochimaru was dieing when sasuke killed him, he was lying in bed barely able to move and kabuto stated he had to do the body change that day or he would die.
