Hey, buddy. I had a question to ask you... Can't remember...Oh yeah! Have you heard the new Townsend album(s)
More Specifically DECONSTRUCTION?
Hey! I have, and I loved every minute of it. I missed Ghost but will eventually track it down soon, but I didn't know if he could top Ki, which was my favorite, but goddamn. Deconstruction just topped it. It seemed heavier and that added so much to the usual controlled outbursts his songs have.
Shit, I need to re-add Ziltoid the Omniscient and Beyond Hell to my MP3 player now that I remember.

I was very surprised by it. I was expecting non-stop chaos. I had no idea it would be chaotic, with a side dish of orchestral brilliance.
Especially in the song "The Mighty Masturbator." That song perfectly describes what I mean. You've got the beginning, which is just Dev singing lightly with some guitar going on behind him, then it explodes into some Doom Metal, then crosses paths with some extreme thrash, then randomly goes into some shit I can't even explain.
The whole album is like that, and by far my favorite of the 4.
Although, I really like Ghost. It feels like a really honest album. You can tell that Dev REALLY wanted to make that album, spiritually. Which is great, because he puts all he has into it. It's just a really pretty record.
