Holy crap. So hey everyone, how's it goin'? Not sure if ya guys know this, but fire storm's are raping the southland. Some friends of mine came by not too long ago and picked my up to go volunteer help out fire victims. Thousands of acres have burned and many homes have been destroyed, most of these people have lost everything. Pets and material items they can never get back. It was busy as hell with all the sad people, we made sure they had a place to sleep for the rest of the week, and coming down the road from Diamond Bar, there was a newscrew stranded because their vehicle overheated, we helped them out, gave them a ride and the reporter woman started to hesitate when the rain of embers came down on us. We had to save her from hurting herself, that poor woman. She suffered second degree burns from the loose embers and she's glad we drove by when we did.
Before I came home, there was a public hearing by Gov. Arnold tellin' everyone he's going to do everything in his power to help the fire victims, so far he's doing a good job of making sure they have a place to stay and are well fed. I hope he keeps that up.
So that was my night, hope everyone else had a safer night...
