Why does this forum have so few threads about quality comics?

Damn, it came up when I quoted! It's ok, I'm not that bothered with spoilers. Earth X and Kingdom Come are excellent reads, if you haven't read them yet. Lately, I've also been hooked into manga. Bleach, Naruto, DBZ.

I myself collect Fables, one of the comics I look most when I go to the shop. The only one I'm missing is #1

90 pct of those comics are rubbish. The other 10 pct vary from okay to great.

The most important comics are :

1. American comics : well, we all know those, don't we ? Some masterpieces, some good reads and a lot of crap.

2. Japanese comics : even worse. Some manga's are great (Akira) but a lot are a waste of paper.

3. European comics : imo the best. Just my opinion people, don't make a big deal out of it.

I certainly think British writers write the best American comics.

I just waiting for the Pitt/Darkness series to come out, Dale's work is some of the best IMO.
