All jokes aside people; always use lube for anal, don't listen to Urizen... while it might work for him, damage can be caused by not using any and a condom is recommended for safe sex practices. Not to sound like sex-ed, but I know there's quite a few younger/inexperienced people in this forum.
The second statement you said is true.....
Tips for for beginner anal f*ckers: * Rogue Jedi...u may wanna pay attention 😉
1) If you are a beginner, and you plan to have a sausage rammed up your fun hole, it is best to use vaseline intensive care...massage the lotion/jelly onto the shaft of your partner's penis, and allow insertion. Relax your anus muscles. As he slides in, tell him to stay put for a good 10-15 seconds. Have him slide out slowly, then slide in slowly, so your muscles relax, to minimize pain.
2) The more you do this, the more used to anal sex you will be, and the less timid you will be. Your anal muscles will also adapt making anal sex more pleasurable and easy to perform.
3) As you get used to it, discard of the Vaseline petrolium jelly or moisturizer, and use a water based lubricant instead (like ky).
4)NEVER GO IN DRY. The friction caused by a dry penis ramming in and out of one's anus can cause severe discomfort and damage. Rash, tears, or infection may occur.

People reading that above, stay away from oil-based lubricants...
1) Oil does not wash away easily and bacteria can form; possibly leading to an infection. There are thick Vaseline like water-based lubricants on the market if you need or desire the extra consistency.
2) Oil-based lubricants breakdown the latex in condoms, another reason not to use Vaseline if you or your partner intend on wearing protection.
Seriously Urizen, I'm straight and I know this... and, both parts of my statement were true as you agreed about the dangers of not using lube.

Read your second statement: ....not to use vaseline if you or your partner INTEND ON WEARING PROTECTION
If you plan not to wear protection, then its fine. It makes the sliding easier than water based lube.....

Read my first statement ... Vaseline (oil) does not wash off well and bacterial infections can occur. If you need or desire the 'thickness' of vaseline; there are water-based lubricants similar to Vaseline readily available. This is aside from condom use.

Vaseline Intensive Care is NOT oil-based. It's a water-based moisturizer. I used to use it all the time.....

I was unaware; if/since that is the case; then the "oil-based" aspect/argument is not applicable... Does the bottle say "safe for internal use" or the like though?
I'd still use lubricants specifically designed for sex though as moisturizers and other additives may or may not react to peoples internals...

Well, I'd rather advise someone follow your advice than mine...
I'm sure you'd advise against OD'ing on Blowjobs, but I'd advise otherwise droolio

Not really just my advise; doctors and sex educators say the same thing.
Sadly, a lot of teens/young adults are not aware that HIV and other STD's can indeed be transmitted through oral-sex; especially if the receiving partner swallows the ejaculate/sprm. So my advise there is to pick your partners carefully [especially] if you intend on not using protection during oral.

Yes you are and that is not being funny... Do whatever you like with yourself, but giving shotty advice that could potentially be harmful is wrong.
Fine....if you want to practice with a dildo, then Vaseline is a quick and easy way to pull it off...if you are thinking about having a penis shoved in your anus, then use water based lubricants specifically designed for that purpose....
Come on Robtard...like anyone here is gonna take my advice....lighten up
