Mad Jim Jaspers runs the gauntlet.

Scathan the Approver is from Earth-691

Not much is known about the great Celestial

Hoping he'll show in the new GOTG series

there've been vs. threads between MJJ and Mxy
and Mxy beat him, since emporer joker = mxy
he should stop there

"only?" 🤨

For one, destroying all but 5, of something truly infinite (lol) is one hell of a feat. Secondly, there wasn't more than a multiverse to destroy/absorb. Had there been more, there's no reason AM couldn't have destroyed it. srsly

"only", heh.

So did MJJ.

I would say Joker stalemates him until Jaspers' power expands beyond his.

Joker warped a Universe and so did Jaspers.

But Jaspers' power continues to increase exponentially.

According to Mxy, so would Joker's (and we saw evidence of this)..

At first, Joker simply warped a universe. Once he became more accustomed to Mxy's power, he destroyed that universe (with an ACME bomb, lol), and completely recreated it. After he became even more used to said powers, he literally replaced Spectre himself, and locked him in a bird cage.

[EDIT] Sorry fellas, just saw how old this thread was. 😮

True, but that "one" universe was the 616 Reality, and we know what that means.

Also,
remember that Cobweb saw a definite Future had the Fury (plot device) not stopped Jaspers,
the "Omniverse would fall into chaos,
and a new and hostile God would play dice with matter
"

That's what Merlin said, that's what Cobweb saw, so imo it holds water.

Sounds like they'll stalemate then for ever.

I don't believe anyone was going to ever stop Jaspers with no Fury,
Merlin didn't give any hint that there would be salvation at the end,
simply put, Fury doesn't do what it was created to do, (be Jaspers' plot device)
Jaspers becomes essentially God! ... wacko style.

So you see the result of some board battles as completely canon material?
Unless it's World's Funnest Mxyzptlk he gets owned on so many levels it's not funny in my opinion. And even if it is, the only reason he could win was taking him to un-space.

I just thought it was peculiar ... your reason why JJ looses to mxy.

I need to stop bumping old threads 😖hifty:

Living Tribunal gonna rule against me

I'll kick his ass 😂

idk, i just remember them coming to the conclusion that mxy could destroy everything and mjj could only warp it so mxy could eventually beat him, or at least stalemate him forever

maybe jokers not as strong as mxy though, anyway, if he gets past joker lucifer stops him

In Marvel,
that "un-space" cheese move was impossible save for his personal plot device 'Fury.'

That's what most continue to forget,
that was literally the only thing that was able to stop him.

Had it not stopped him, the 'Fury' and the 'Fury' alone, this would've happened:

..................................................................................

Omniversal warping by Jaspers!

Cobweb is psychically connected to her Past and Future selves,
she tapped into one of her possible Future-selves:

Cobweb literally connects to her counter-parts residing in even possible Futures,
so what Cobweb saw,
would DEFINITELY have happened.

Anyway, this is what she saw,
had Jaspers not been stopped by his personal anti-JJ plot device. (the Fury)

..................................................................................

That above is Jaspers canceling the entire Omniverse,
just like Omniversal Matrix/Merlyn predicted would happen if he wasn't stopped:

... and if he is not defeated...
the Omniverse shall fall into chaos,
and a new and hostile God shall play dice with matter
"
..................................................................................

Just have to say, it was hardly a definite future if it didn't happen.

The Jaspers we actually saw (the one whom battled, and was beaten by, Fury) warped a universe, on panel. I agree that Jaspers certainly had the potential to be an omniversal warper - however, the aforementioned version never reached that potential.

I agree. That's why I originally stated that MJJ gets to Joker. 😛

Right, luckily for the Omniverse the Fury existed.

Right, the 616 Reality, which contains the infinite power of the prime Multiverse.

I never added to it.

I never said he did.

I presented the scans,
I said Cobweb saw Jaspers warping the Omniverse ...
had the Fury not stopped him.

👆 No doubt, that's what I left with in the JJ vs Mxy thread.

Psss.... you quoted Galan's lines as having come from me.

You aware of the fact that the DC Multiverse is all of DC reality and hence equal to the Marvel Omniverse. Both are all of reality? CotIE AM is in Marvel Terms omniversal.

Stops at 10

I say he stops at 9. It seems Scathan has the ability to nullify anyones power with his muzzle.

I have 1 question though. Wouldn't sending Jaspers to unspace only truly work if you sent him there by himself? If there's someone there with him like the Fury or Lucifer wouldn't Jaspers powers still work on them in unspace?
