its a new generation, foo. turns out SNK has a better idea of what new characters means. turns out Capcom was initially thinking of not putting in Ryu and Ken. then decided on only ryu...and finally decided on Ryu and Ken (and of course, that lead to Gouki and Shemale). now why did Capcom put in Ryu and Ken and Gouki in SF3? 😬

what did ken do in the entire SF canon thus far? have an uncomfirmed win against ryu in SF2? or beat his destracted butt in SFA2? beat no names in some tourny? or was it fighting mainly girls and rookies for the entire course of SF so far? for someone who'se been around for over 10 years of the SF canon and around 20 since the debut of the game.......ken has zero feats.
I'll break it down for you. SF is mostly centered around Ryu but they don't wank him so much it makes the tourny useless.

FF is focused ONLY on the Hulk Hogan imposter & there's no point in having a tourny if nobody can ever beat Terry.
FF MOTW based on Rock. FFRBDM based on the other guy (whatshisname damnit!). as opposed to the REAL hulk hogan who comes and does his posing and "runs wild" on Alex.
Why not just save time & just hand him the trophy? Or better yet, just call him champ for life.
or make him poster boy and shitstomp the new cats? or how about just have him as poster boy for practically anything that has anything to do with fighting? or better yet, make a new hero, then take us back in time so we can sit on ryu's impotent nustack for another ride in a prequel? and any tourny that he doesn't win, how about we just make no announcements about that whole tourny so that we don't even know who wins it? or better yet, if he fails to beat the new hero, why not just make a sequel where he gets to shitstomp the new hero perfect?
