What the hell is wrong with people?

Ok some lady called into where I work, a pizza place, the other day and said "She gave me a $50 and I only gave her back $15". I know that I didn't give her $15 back because I counted it out twice when I gave her the change. I gave her a $20, a $10, a $5 and 4 $1's. (The order was for $11 and I gave her $39 back in change, she then gave me $4 for the tip.)

So anyway she calls in and says I shortchanged her. I call bullshit and my manager gets all mad because he is an a$$hole and only cares about money. All the evidence is in my favor though. I had 21 deliveries Saturday night, at the end of my shift I have to printout this piece of paper that tells me what I owe to the main safe and the rest I keep. I owed $390.68 to the main safe. I have worked there for a while now and everytime I do my end of day I always go a dollar or two over the amount. Because I don't want to bother with change in coins and it's easier for them to subtract the extra two bucks and give me back the change from the main amount.

I get $3 in tips every delivery.

21 x 3 = $63, my total tips for saturday night came out to $68. That's only a $5 difference. No way do I owe this lady the $23.35 that she says I do.

But I will be forced to give it back to her because of my manager.

I say I am being cheated out of money that I made here and it's ridiculous.

That sucks, I used to deliver pizzas for years, loved the tips. But yeah, that totally sucks that you have to give her back some money. She probably spent it on something else and forgot. I hate that lady.

Thats why I left my job at Chick-fil-A during High School. Always cheap assholes wanting to get there money back on bullshit stuff.

I used to work at a movie theatre, and I was accused of shortchanging someone once. But I wasn't wearing my name tag so he couldn't do shit. evillaugh

People are just ****ing nuts.

I had some crazy woman a couple weeks ago who I sold a PS2 to, and I told her about 4 times (because she wasn't paying attention) that the receipt was in the bag. Nutso woman comes back in a few days later saying it didn't work and she wanted to return it but didn't have a receipt because I didn't give it to her...she was having a fit about it and demanding to ONLY deal with me because it was my fault blah blah blah. My assistant managers convinced her to go back home to look for it (because they both were there the first day that lady was there and remember me putting it in the bag and telling her that), and then sent me off on lunch. She came back and I was just sitting behind the counter eating Subway and got to inwardly laugh when she insisted on talking to me and was told by both ASMs that I was off the clock and thus couldn't do anything at all.

I love my job, and I am in no way being sarcastic when I say that.
