If they do a W/E ending, I suspect that they'll probably throw in a get out of jail free clause to the Flying Dutchman contract. It will probably go something like, if the bride can remain faithful for ten years, the curse of the FD is lifted and he can return to life, or at least to his beloved.
I agree savvysparrow...her waiting for Will every 10 years would really take away the STREGNTH from her character. Since COTBP we saw Liz grow and grow more into a Pirate and by the end of AWE she is leading all the PIARTES into the BIGGEST BATTLE of them All....She even Delievers the most poweful line in the Trilogy, the line that literally sums up all 3 movies and the title.."TODAY WE ARE...THE PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN!" what they've done to her character is amazing...Elizabeth is one BAD A$$ B*TCH in this movie!! So to go from being the Pirate KING, the leader of the WAR to being stuck on a island waiting for Will to show up every 10 years...thats taking back what Liz was able to achieve! and in a sense that would be punishment for her!!

Me and savvysparrow were speculating last night about Coral Jack. That he could be the "good side" that Jack shot. The good Jack is a lost soul, therefore, nound to Davy's curse.
Jack did the same thing that Davy did except cutting his heart.
What Davy did was to cut his heart out, to not feel pain or love again.
Jack did the same except he shot his good side, not cut his heart.
Jack resembles Davy. Not Will.
I'm so sick of these "spoiler endings" that everyone is so sure of. Some people really need to get a life and some other people need to realize that not all this "inside" information is credible or even logical. The people that read the book have already proven that these movie makers aren't stupid. They're not going to let things leak out to the point where a bunch of fans on a forum can piece it all together. It's a movie, when it all comes down to it. Just happy it exists.
