actually, if supes was really blood lusted, he would have sun dipped and ripped diana in half like a phone book. but i digress...superman was fighting vicious yes, but not smart. once again, i don't have a problem if wonder woman wins, its just he didn't fight smart. if supes was in a normal mind frame, he would have fought much better, and not just kept rushing her like a tard. he would have kept blasting her with heat vision, actually took adtvantage when he froze her, froze her again, etc. supes takes the majority against wonder woman. he has to many powers, and he's faster, stronger, and more durable. most people will agree with that. again, that doesn't mean that he beats her 10/10. i'd say 6/10 or 7/10.
the superman/ max lord thing was bs... he goes apeshit on batman and bruce survives? please...
and even if you want to take the diana fight into account, she maintains during the fight that anything she does is merely to slow him down... she's the one who has her wrist broken, and she's the one who's forced to kill lord to break his control over clark...
sentry has what, a couple of nice feats, so? i guarantee for every sentry feat there is a superman one just as if not more impressive...

Good post, except there was flaws in it.
I guess wonderwoman was going to stand there and let superman rip her in half. And since wonderwoman has the strength to break his ribs and almost break his legs do you think that she can rip him apart. could work both ways. To me that was the worst way diana would want to fight superman, when he is willing to kill her.
Also, fighting diana up is the worst thing that you can do, since she is one of the best fighter in dcu. By the way, I just realized something. You used superman beating wonderwoman in a superman/batman book 😆 . You do know that also in that book batman knocked captain marvel out with a kick and he also beat up solomon grundy and fought like half of dc villians and beat them also. Bad comic to choose a battle from.

I guess you didnt see the fight. She broke his ribs, said that she could of broken his leg but she said that she was holding back. She busted his ear drums and she also sliced his throat. But superman broke her risk, lets compare. Wonderwoman was holding back, superman wasnt. Do the math.

The writing in the first Sentry series was incredible.
People lost taste for it because it was slow in the action department, but the art was unique and the theme was exceptional, the finality was a bit of a disappointment imo.

i was using that example as something that was retarded. i flat out said it was pis a few posts back. didn't you read that? also, supes would rip her in half if he was sun dipped. if he is sundipped, wondy has absolutely no chance to fight him physically. there is no way wondy can rip supes in half due to his bio field. he's to durable. thats a fact. also, the reason supes can fight her hand to hand is because of his superior strength, speed and durability. the reason wondy hangs with him in hand to hand is because of her superior fighting skill. still, supes combination of powers gives him the majority after many tough fights.

yes, if superman is sundipped he takes wonderwoman 10/10 every time and he could rip her in half but if youre using that you might as well give wonderwoman ALL of her tools, that would make everything even.

She did say that she was only slowing him down because she wasnt there to kill him, she was only there to fight him to SLOW him down or get him to come to his senses. Do you think that she was there to kill him.
By the way I own the comic, love it, its one of my favorite comics, thats why i know so much about it.

When she cut his throat, if she kept attacking that would have killed him.
When she busted his ear drums and start punching him but decided to hold back, the words hold back stated that if she would have went all out she could have killed him.
and yes superman was going full tip, he had no reason to go full tip on batman but he had plenty of enough reason to go all out on wonderwoman (in the image of doomsday and made it look like doomsday kill louis.).
Plenty enough reason for me. 😉
