Hehe.
I don't think it's meant to be taken quite that literally. Firstly because our sun doesn't have the mass to go supernova in the first place. Secondly, I think the key word there is power of a million exploding suns.
A supernova (of a star with 1.44 solar masses) releases 1042 joules of energy. To put that in perspective if a superhero punches with the same energy as a car going highway speeds it's around 105 joules, or 500,000 J.
EDIT: Sorry. The html for superscripts don't seem to be working. Anyone know how I could put those values in?

I know what a star needs in order to go supernova. Sun is just being used as another word for star in that case.
Taken literally having the power of a million exploding suns would actually limit Sentry's power since everything he does would use up some of that energy.
With the power of a million supernovas Sentry would probably win just by engulfing everything within a parsec in energy. That or he would just hit Superman once with all his strength.

Use scientific notation with the E notation.
