Team Ninja vs Team Mortal Kombat

Team Ninja takes on Team Mortal Kombat, mainly because Ayane snubbed both the Lin Kuei and the Shirai Ryu clans as being inferior. Subzero is a bit irked at that comment, but Scorpion is furious.

Before long, the fighters gather and it is time. Unfortunately, it is 2-on-1 at first, but Liu Kang comes to his friends' aid, eventhough he is not a ninja (which Subzero takes care of by making him an honorary member of the Lin Kuei)

Mortal Kombat, the only character capable of taking down any one on team ninja is Hayabusa, but he can't do it all on his own.

I agree. Team Mortal Kombat wins. SubZero as of the last Mortal Kombats is a beast, and Scorpion's always been a beast. Ryu can't possibly take on them both.

You forgot that Scorpion had killed the elder Subzero in the first MK tournament, and that Liu had beaten Goro. Subzero the Younger spared his opponent's life in the Outworld Tournament and Scorpion's as well. Subzero would also win against Sektor, fought against Scorpion during Shinnok's invasion.

I'm siding with Team Ninja on this one, until I am convinced otherwise.

I side with Team MK because all MK needs to do to get a considerable advantage is handicap them; and Scorpion is perfect for that. Scorpion teleports Ryu to his realm and they proceed to do battle from there on. In his realm Scorpion gets a considerable power boost. About the matchup between Ryu & Scorpion I'm torn. Scorpion is powerful all right, but Ryu's very very resourceful and he won't stop for nothing.

As for the rest of the combatants Hayate & Ayane are formidable, but Liu Kang has more experience than both of them and probably more finese. You add the master of Lin Kuei to the equation and the odds stack against the ninjas.

PS - I am not sure if Ryu could actually teleport himself back though.

It depends if Scorpion gets access to his realm. Nonetheless, Ryu teleported to the Fiend Realm and kicked the Lord of the Fiends ass and with ease.

I admit Liu Kang is a badass motherf*cker, as well as S. Zero, and they could fight toe to toe against the ninjas. Keep in mind that although Liu Kang has his firepower and S. Zero has his ice moves(lol), Ayane and Hayate have techniques of their own that are pretty devastating. Hayate has the Torn Sky Blast and Ayane has that spell she uses in DOA4.

What if Ryu uses his Inferno against S. Zero? How much damage do you think it would do?

I remember in some MK movie Raiden shot back S. Zero and Scorpion with electric bolts from his arms, so I'm wondering Ryu would do the same thing to both of them.

I'm going to make a scenario of what might happen.

Ryu charges S. Zero and attacks him. S. Zero gets damaged and continues to fight Ryu.

Scorpion shoots a breath of flame in Ryu's direction. Ryu teleports out of the way and the attack hits S. Zero!

S. Zero: "What the hell!?"

Scorpion: "...."

Ayane fights Liu Kang and Hayate assists Ayane. Lui Kang is outnumbered.

S. Zero shoots a ball of ice at Ryu, who dodges it. Ryu jumps and executes a Flying Swallow on S. Zero.

Scorpion shoots his bloody spear at Hayate, who blocks it with his sword, but Hayate suddenly realizes that the thing moves on in all sorts of directions! Hayate continues to dodge the kunai and charges Scorpion and attacks him.

As for the battle, no, all of Team Ninja can take the MK team. Have you forgotten their techniques? Hayate has the Torn Sky Blast which is probably strong enough to disable S. Zero or Liu Kang in one hit. Ayane has her powerful spell and considering the speed at which Hayate and Ryu fight, more than likely Ayane would execute the attack, since she'd have ample time to prepare it. From that point on, I don't see the MK team winning.
