Yngwie is not the worst ever. In fact, he's one of the best ever. His music may not be apealing to one's ears but that does not necessarily make him the worst guitarist ever.
As for the worst guitarist that's been "heard" it wold easily go to one of these crapp-o mainstream bands made popular by MTV and VH1.

Indeed. But, this by no means makes him a bad guitarist. You might say he has poor judgement, you might say he is stupid, you might say he delusional. But, you can not say that he is a poor guitarist.
Simply, he is not. I don't know if there's another way of saying it.
