This is serious discussion. 😛

Jokes are not permitted 😐

That is a nice sig of him.

I like the theme and colors, but couldn't you have found a better picture of Obama?

He looks all angry there, like the anti-christ or something.

You know, unheard of but extremely charismatic and popular, people are drawn to him and he's a uniter... will bring peace in the middle east....

oh shit, he's starting to really sound like he could be the anti-christ! 😛

Actually I'd vote for him, I guess.

He's professed to be a Christian, and even spoke at pastor Rick Warren's church (the guy who wrote Purpose Driven Life).

They don't agree on abortion and stuff, but the pastor says that he believes Barrack to be a true Christian.

Somebody like him, or a congressman like William Ford J.R. who is a conservative democrat, is somebody I'd rather have than shitty Republicans like Foley or DeLay.

Is there a general (nationwide) feeling/consensus right now about who would win between Barack and Hillary?

No. Too many questions.

Despite your shallow philosophy of Christian = Vote, I think you might actually appreciate his stance on religion. He was, at one point, atheist. Hes certainly not "Christian" in the sense you are. He vocally despises Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson. He is secular and tolerant of the rights of atheists. He celebrates the positive traditions of Chuch activism on behalf of the disadvantaged (his civil rights work brought him back into the Church).

He was the keynote speaker at the Call to Renewal conference sponsored by Sojourners. Of course Sojourners is a sane evangelical movement (one focused on being a good neighbor as opposed to destroying the lives of others), but his speech was one of the most profound political stances on religion I have ever heard, and I hear a lot.

I can give you the information if you're interested.

O'Bama seems to still be trailing Hillary. 🙁

However, he seems to have more financial support. 🙂
