It's called "Political sociology" but seeing as that won't really help you I'll explain it. The course is about social capital and generally the decline of change of it. Since most (especially long term) research on social capital has been done in the US we mostly study social capital in the US. One of the textbooks called "A new engagement" is filled with graphs and stats about social capital in the US. Specifically the change between old and young generations.

Being a "black person" or mixed black heritage should in no way make someone automatically approve of or be for Obama, but that dude suffers from "Uncle Tom" syndrome.
