Except the $10 million transfer is not what she actually raised.

Most of Obama's money came from people wo donated $100 or less.

THATS power 🙂

That's why I qualified the number I posted. She raised $26 mil, and currently has $36 million in her account. 😉

Likely not

Its not like he hasn't tried to get hte nomination repeatedly 🙄

Do you suppose he should just stop trying?

It doesn't really matter, he has virtually no impact on the process

It doesny really matter who the Dems nominate, if that canidate wins were all fu$#% Dems are so silly

Really I suppose I should just give up and stop voting altogether. That's just the attitude I need to develop to be a true american.

Democratic fundraising totals
Sen. Hillary Clinton: $36 million (including the $10 million transfer from her Senate account)

Sen. Barack Obama: $25 million

Fmr. Sen. John Edwards: $14 million

Sen. Christopher Dodd: $9 million

Fmr. NM Gov. Bill Richardson: $6 million

Sen. Joe Biden: $2 million

It's pathetic how much money goes to political campaigns in the United States.

Yay capitalism ermm

Many politicians, especially democrats, want publically financed elections.

I believe that Clinton, Obama and Edwards (and maybe others) all chose to refuse corporate or lobbyist contributions, did they not? And yet they were the 1st, 2nd, and 5th highest fundraisers, respectively.

One would think that it's a good thing.

Yes. They do refuse corporate donations...at least Obama...but I think I've heard the same things. I know Obama has continuously floated the idea of capping campaign sizes and garunteeing equal public funding for candidates who meet basic qualifications.

Rudy G. will win it all anyway.

*points and laughs*

He won't even win the nomination.

I know that Clinton and Edwards did so as well. Not about the capping, but the eschewing of private funding
