Gays and woman should have equal rights
Stem cell research = yes
Abortion = yes
Anti stupid ****ing wars
Good at the economy
Can talk properly
Apose stupid threats to the people Eg. Reagan's communist threats and Bush's terrorist threats
No lies, just confusing words

etc, it's not that hard to see which is better

Ummm....abortion is not a good thing.

Abortion rights however, are good.

I haven`t been following it recently.....does it seem like Obama cannot defeat Hillary at this point? A pity.

I know better than you, I'm sure.

Knowing his chances in the campaign, this video is pretty pathetic.

I do love the guy though.

Where the hell has this guy been?

If I had a million dollars to spare, he would be the first one to get it

Doubt it. I'd go Cabinet Secretary though.

I'm hoping that O'Bama wins. My favorite Dem is Biden, but he doesn't stand a chance.

I'll probably go green party.

Greens are just democrats but more lame.

Spare the owl
Kill the fetus

That's bassicaly thier slogan.

Or hell, why not just go for uber lame and support the reform party?
"We--We have Jesse Ventura"

Well I don't like any party, they are all liars.

I hope none of them. They all are horrible IMO.

If I was forced to decide, I'd go with Biden.

What specific talking points of Biden's campaign have you deciding on him...of course if forced to.

Before you think I am antagonizing you, I am not; I think you try to be well informed-politcally-and I would like to "hear" your opinion on this.

Well, I think it helps that Biden has been involved with foreign policy for such a long period of time (I think something like thirty years). So I mean, he has the experience (compared to almost any other candidate -- Republican or Democrat) in that field.

Like I said though, it is a "forced" issue. So I mean, most of Biden's ideals I completely disagree with. Like for example, a national smoking ban, not wanting to lower the drinking age, voting for No Child Left Behind, American troops being put in Darfur, saying Iran and North Korea are huge threats to the United States, gun restriction, et cetera. Granted, some of those things are minor, but really show a lack of what I look for in a candidate to be honest (even though Biden did say voting for No Child Left Behind was a mistake).

I could just never vote for Edwards, Obama nor Hilary because they have all these ideas to fix America (likewise so does Huckabee for that matter), yet all that stuff involves an expansion of the government and more taxes. Like Edwards, his "College for Everyone" stance. While I agree College is a ridiculous amount of money. It is an earned status. Not a right. He wants to make school available to thousands of kids in Africa and while I agree that is a laudable act certainly. We have to take care of the failing education in America first. And furthermore, who is paying for all this (I would pressume the American people of course). Going to foreign policy again, he also advocates increasing the sanctions on Iran (which doesn't hurt anyone but the civilians in Iran and why do that to them?).

As for Obama. I really just do not like this guy. He is all talk and no substance. I watched him on Meet the Press for literally like an hour and still have no idea where he stood on anything. He just uses all these general cliches about fixing America and the world, but doesn't really say anything about the "how" aspect of it. That is a turn off on me. Likewise, Obama also said "free public college" for anyone with a B-average. I sure hope that was a joke. Not to mention his statement on foreign policy experience. Stating that since he was overseas as a child for a few years, he has experience in those matters. What? He also advocates seemingly universal Healthcare which I am opposed to. And I disagree with him and many that healthcare is a right. It isn't to be honest. It seems to me, he is more or less also for amnesty in regards to illegal immigrants.

And on to Hilary. Both her and Obama (like many other candidates) get money out the butt from corporations and what have you and that scares me. It seems she would hold their positions and agendas more than the American people. I don't like how Hilary also seems to undermine blacks to a degree. I can't remember where she was, but it was somewhere south I believe and she started talking like an "African-American" I guess to be more like them or something. It was odd. She also is in favor of Universal Healthcare and a restriction big time on guns. She also mentioned something like giving every baby five thousand dollars to put towards college. What the hell?

I mean, there are few things few and far between that I do agree with Edwards, Obama, Biden and Hilary. I don't expect a candidate to be perfect. But they have too many differing opinions of what government 'ought to do than I do.

I mean really, I don't even know if I'd go with Biden. How about Gravel haha?

Awesome post...not because I agree with every point...but because you are striving to be a well informed voter and you aren't just another person spitting out hot gas for a candidate.

I see the same thing with Obama. Every now and then, he says something that I say "yeah...me too" to...but most of the time, I left thinking to myself..."what the hell did he just say? what was his point?" or "HOW are you going to do that?"

When I watch Hilary speak about things, I am always left with a negative impression...I think she is too much of a grouchy b***h. I really never catch myself saying "yeah!!! I agree totally with that." I am always like "yeah...some of that sounded right..but you put stupid shit on that and it makes it a poor idea." As for Hilary's campaigning? I think she is doing too well for herself considering her positions. I think she gaining votes due to ignorant Americans not thinking or educating themselves about the issues that America faces. (In other words, she is doing a great job of winning votes from the ignorant...which is good for her election team..shitty for informed voters...not that an informed voters wouldn't vote for Hilary.)

An important issue that needs to be addressed is our reliance on oil...Obama made an excellent statement about that. He spoke of increasing regulations that would require cars to run at 40mpg minimum...which is well within reach...I, of course, would like to see American shift towards other sources of energy for transportation like hydrogen or electricity..but a 40 mpg regulation would still be a small step forward. I would like to rid ourselves of the reliance on those evil OPEC bastards.

Obama also strikes me as being more honest that Hilary...it is just an impression and I can't really give specific examples. Even if it is because Obama has a talent for coming off as being more honest as a politician as compared to others...it is still a trait that would win votes, imo.

Well, the thing also is, some voters are truly ignorant, while others do only vote for candidates based on the fact that (for example) Hilary is female or that Obama is black. A waitress at my work clearly said she was only voting for Hilary because she is a woman. Likewise, something I can't stand more than anything (even more than apathetic voters) is uneducated ones. I don't expect them to know everything. The girlfriend of my friend is voting for Obama just because. She can't even state any reasons why. Just because I suppose...

Nonetheless, I think it be great to seek alternative energy sources and not rely on foreign oil as much as we do. Especially being in bed with dictators simply for their oil. That is horrible. I wouldn't say energy is a big issue for me as foreign policy is (although energy does tie into that a bit), as well as the economy and restoring the principals of the U.S. Constitution.
