The Democratic National Committee Rules and Bylaws Sucommittee voted to strip Florida of all of its delegates to the Convention next August, to punish the state party for moving their primary to Jan. 29th, which would create primary chaos.

I agree with the decision. Thoughts?

Obama... does he have some angle by doing things like this? I think they're fairly trivial in the big scheme, but these types of antics (first the flag pin refusal) will hand it to Hillary.

that pic was taken during the national anthem, and not the pledge of allegiance.

U.S. Flag Code dictates:"During rendition of the national anthem when the flag is displayed, all present except those in uniform should stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart."

Like I said, I think it's trivial, but the Repub bloggers are going to crucify him as even more "anti-American", over this.

well i stand corrected.

Many national polls now have Hillary Clinton with majority support of likely Democratic voters.

national polls of old people. 😂

It's highly unlikely that only old people answer polls.

At RealClearPolitics.com, they average the state and national polls conducted by major news outlets. Here's where the Democrats currently stand:

National
Hillary Rodham Clinton - 47.5%
Barack Obama - 21.7%
John Edwards - 12.5%
Bill Richardson - 3.3%

Clinton Advantage +25.8%

Iowa
Hillary Rodham Clinton - 28.8%
Barack Obama - 23.6%
John Edwards - 21.2%
Bill Richardson - 9.2%

Clinton Advantage +5.2

New Hampshire
Hillary Rodham Clinton - 41%
Barack Obama - 20.6%
John Edwards - 12%
Bill Richardson - 8.2%

Clinton Advantage +20.4%

You're unnecessarily skeptical.

Sorry, but why should war be prevented?

Um....war is bad.

The War Prayer (Mark Twain)

Wow, this thread was on the 2nd page. What's up with that?

Didn't anybody see the debate last night?

Obama stepped up, as he said he was going to do. But, hands down, the winner of that debate was John Edwards. He was really very good. I'm still supporting Kucinich, despite that being hopeless.

But hands down, the most disturbing part of the debate was that practically every candidate on that stage made it a point to mention special interest groups like drug companies, insurance companies, etc. being the biggest problem in the American political process! (a sentiment I agree with, completely) Then about 30 mins into the debate, they went to the first commercial break that was lead in by an add stating: The Democratic National Debate at Drexel University is brought to you by LIBERTY MUTUAL INSURANCE!

Fu*king laughable.

(I was disturbed by the UFO tactic. Kucinich tried to explain, but he was cut off and mocked by everyone else. He said he saw a UFO, he never said, himself, that he thought they were speaking directly into his head, as was implied by the moderator)

War is not always bad. It can serve quite useful purposes.

Sure, but that's not the only issue we face in this election.

On the news today, it is said that 500 solders have committed suicide. That is not counting the ones back home that were supposed to be counted on to go back.. That is if my facts are correct. I heard this by second hand news. I myself, don't watch the news, but this war has got to stop.
