That skirts the edge of sounding arrogant.

I wouldn't assume everyone else doesn't realize that he is simply a politician, and playing the opposite very wel on television . As Bill Maher said on his show 2 weeks ago, it had to be exactly the right guy at the right time, to be the black candidate for president.

That speech did drag on though, and I was actually suprised they interrupted Hill dog's speech to televise his.

I wish Obama was the right guy because if we're going to make history with the first black President, I want it to be someone that will be a damn good ****ing President. But Obama just won't be and yea, that may sound arrogant to a lot of people, but where he stands on issues; he can't turn out good. I could care less about all the other fluff of being charismatic and a great speaker.

I wouldn't try to make generalizations, but I mean, a lot of people think Obama is squeaky clean, fresh and the savior of the United States (granted, a lot of people made accusations of the sort geared towards Ron Paul supporters in reference to Ron Paul). Eh, maybe I'm a hypocrite then. I don't know. It's late, I'm tired.

For the record though, I never thought RP was the savior of the US...

Long story short, I support a lot of Pauls ideas; I don't see them ever happening. I like the use of straight forward logic he represents, but I do not like the long-term implications. As for the democrats, my guy got whacked a long time ago, so I have to settle for Obama. That's the sad part though, isn't it? We have to settle in this country. (on top of all that other shit)

The savior of the US will be it's own people, who, sadly, aren't interested or bright enough to fulfill that responsability.

Who was this guy? If I tried to venture a guess, I'm sure I'd be off. But I'll go with Biden???

Oh hell no. I don't settle. I'm not loyal to a damn elephant or a donkey. I'm loyal to principals, morals and convictions.

You're last sentence, dead on. My fourth period teacher jokes saying he wishes facism would come to America just so the American people would wake up.

Kucinich. But I often supported a Biden/Kucinich ticket.

Principles are fine when they don't change with the wind. Convictions are the same. Morals, I have little absolute use for.

4th period? So, you're in high school? It will likely come as no suprise that I am a fascist in the short term.

Obama isn't Black, he's as White as he is Black, he's a mulatto. This "first Black president" nonsense is like a sickness.

What are you talking about? Since when did the stereotype of "black" matter more than the actually color?

Yea...

Well if anything, I'm probably at the opposite end of the spectrum. I'd consider myself libertarian/constitutionalist that is towing a very fine line towards anarchism.

You mean that guy that implied that school shootings are ultimately the result of the president of the United States? What a joke...

No, I mean the guy who blamed guns for school shootings.

His wife was hot.

I don't like Chris, but that is great and is a testament I think to how it is for a lot of Obama supporters. Sometimes it is even worse. A lot of the time, they don't even know what he stands for.

Except for hope and change, hope and change, hope and change, hope and change and well you get the idea...

Kucinich was awesome. I was thinking of a Kucinich/Obama or Obama/Kucinich ticket. Oh well.

Party loyalty is just an argument candidates use on both sides to escape from the real issues. In fact, I was a Romney supporter before Mitt started worrying too much about the "real" definition of republican.
