The middle class pays a disproportionate amount of tax to subsidize both the poor, who are serviced by inefficient and corrupt government programs, and the rich, who receive tax cuts, subsidies and grants.

The rich probably still pay a higher percentile than the middle class, and I'm sure thats a problem for you, but they are defiantly not paying, in terms of losing market power, the same as the middle class are.
