As an outsider to this election, I'm actually not getting the Obama thing either.

Initially there was the novelty value, but after that faded... I couldn't really see what was left.

Then again all the campaigns seem heavy on rhetoric as opposed to actual policy.

As far as I know, Obama wants to end the war and do what Kerry was trying to do in 04, like the economy and the middle class. That's probably why Kerry loves Obama so much, their policies are almost identical.

What are the major differences between Obama and Hillary in your opinion.

In my opinion, Obama is against the war...or has strong disliking for it, Hillary is for the war. Obama is more concerned about welfare, Hillary is more concerned about women's/minority's rights. Hillary is an arrogant *****, Obama is not. Obama wants to hear the voice of the people, Hillary wants to hear the voices in her head. They do have a lot of similarities though.

I'm sure I've missed a lot.

What do you base any of that you said on?

And we haven't even gotten to the actual campaign. We're still sitting around waiting for nominees for the actual campaign

I'm not fully sure what you're asking and I'm betting that's not a proper sentence.

I am asking what you base your statements on.

Obama 1 - Clinton 0

Keep 'em coming.

Yeah, but that was Bill, not Hillary.

It's what Democrats do.

the reporter was making a joke about the infamous "I didn't inhale" line, which Obama, imho, knocked out of the park

Yeah, that was crazy though. Politics are so ridiculous sometimes.

Mostly youtube videos.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EhpKmQCCwB8 Obama against the war 2002 to present

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c0uVZ_sjhEQ Obama on middle class tax cuts

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dqn_P0JIYkU&feature=related Obama on taxing the rich

Can't find the video where Obama talks about how wrong it is for Hillary to stage questions, whereas he would rather let the people say there own questions (it was long in 2007 I think).

You can also look at their campaing websites.

You're a fascist sociopath and I take offense from being called a commie.

I am a libertarian anarchist...and not a sociopath in strict sense.

And people that support Hillary or Obama support a path that leads closer to communism, so I do not really care.

On a different note, your videos don't prove how he is different to Hillary.

You still bother asking?

The latter which would surely show a difference, I couldn't find. Sad.

As for videos that show differences:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=mb3JHexXljk&feature=related This video shows Hillary's arrogance and lies.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=HT91kju1s6Y Hillary apparently in support of Iran War, Obama against it.

Not forgetting their campaign sites:

http://hillaryclinton.com/issues/women/ Hillary talking about women's rights.

http://hillaryclinton.com/issues/immigration/ Hillary on immigration (which I think would constitute as rights for minorities or at least is a similar field).

http://www.barackobama.com/issues/economy/ Obama on the economy.

To be fair, Obama does support those that Hillary supports and vice versa; I'm saying that that's their top priority as that's what they say mostly (on youtube videos).

On a further note, their main differences is their attitudes and foreign policy. Obama seems more patriotic and a more of a people person to me, whereas Hillary is arrogant and stubborn. Most of the Hillary supporters support her mostly because she's a woman and has experience, but if America wants real change, they should vote for Obama.
