Ouch for Ron Paul.

Not sure what you are talking 'bout. Those are excellent numbers for Paul.

It's amazing how little they let Ron Paul speak. That guy has 5 % of the official polls. Wins a huge amount of Straw Polls, was polled as winner of earlier debates, has the most watchers on youtube (youtube debate), polls amazing in online and text message polls and yet still gets like a few seconds to talk.

H-how exactly can a serious News Station (well, I guess they were serious sometime, trying to be FOX News II nowadays it seems) justify that?

Except for that, he owned of course. What the hell this Thompson fella is doing I don't know, Giuliani is a slimy bastards that should die, Romney as well, though in a different way. Huckabee seems to be the least vomit inducing (except for Paul of course who makes any reasonable person cream their pants (I'm joking (he's good though))). Well, all in all I would say though that all Republicans suck so much that the socialists ( I decided we real liberals should take our word back and call Democrats what they are) seem almost desirable.

Also, I counted the responses every candidate was granted:

Giuliani 13
Romney 13
Thompson 10
McCain 10
Hunter 9
Huckabee 8
Tancredo 7
Paul 6 (one of which whether he would run as independent ... very issue related)

Don't see how that is fair at all to either Paul or Huckabee.

Someone's sure getting into this...

Looks like it'll be a Guilliani--Clinton election.

Probably.

My personal favorites from both tickets are Obama and McCain.

Well, Ron Paul is great. And the US elections are kinda important, not as important as they were before you managed to elect a monkey, but still.

He has the lowest...

Ron Paul is not very well known, but the few who support him practically worship him, ey. Everyday in Phoenix I see people on street corners wearing their "Ron Paul Revolution" shirts and holding signs.

I thought it was Tancredo.

He has the lowest of the 5 major. His internet support is amazing. Many claim this sort of phone conducted polls do not show an accurate image. He does amazingly well in straw polls, internet polls and text message polls. It just shows how he is able to get people to do something and vote for him. I don't doubt that we will see a different picture at the actual elections.

I don't think he will win, very unlikely, but those polls aren't absolutely truthful.

That's also not that true. A lot of people know him. He raised 4 million dollars with an average of 150$ donations in one day. He is well known and he is rather popular.

I am looking forward to December 16th. He'll get a money boost that day again.

Do you have yourself one of those "Ron Paul Revolution" t-shirts?

Haha, nah, I am happy someone is showing the libertarian flag, but there is a sort of cult following around him...I don't find that great. I kinda like the facts though, they make me feel good.

I'd say that paints a clear picture again. Just shows how the media is corrupted and biased.

I would have to agree. It is funny how the "viewer votes" show a drastic contrast to CNN's experts. You'd think that CNN would choose experts whose opinions most reflect what the general population's point of views are. But nooooo, that would be the best choice...considering that America is a Democratic republic, representing the people in the media in unbiased manner would only be the most objective way to approach elections...but what do I know...I am just a stupid voter who tries to make informed decisions about these things. 😕

Good Ron Paul article, if not very supportive, talks a lot about how he does his fund raising (or how people do it for him)

Speaking about which states donated the most to his campaign: "If Canada were a U.S. state, then it would place third, just above Florida."

which begs me to ask the off topic question of.... WHY THE **** ARE THERE NO LIBERTARIAN CANDIDATES IN CANADA!!!!!!!!!!

Why the hell are Candians donating to a non-Demacrat candidate?

Becase he is the best candidate in both races at the moment. He is intelligent, his issues are vital, and all in all he just stands for the America the world used to love. The Democrats are all pretty much suckers actually, the only smart option you have is Ron Paul (you should vote for him).

Though, I can't picture him as president. I mean, could any of you imagine Jon Stewart or David Letterman making a joke about that guy? Nah, he's way too great, which is why you will end up with President Giuliani.

But yeah, comedians will find material for any President. It just won't be as easy as it was with Clinton and Bush.

I would have to agree with you. Except, there will be jokes like QM said. Jokes may not sting as much because they will be "reaching" with their jokes IF he becomes president. Who knows, he may be one of the best presidents we have had as Americans. It surprises me that you know so much about an American issue...though America's president is an important world matter.

So yeah him getting those results isn't good.

Him getting internet support is mostly because of Alex Jones.

Well, they can make fun of his old voice and his general ancientness.

Also, Ronnie is from Texas, everyone likes to make fun of Texas.

As for the Canadians liking him, well they just like anyone who is against neocons like Bush.

elaborate. Alex Jones doesn't have that much sway.

our Prime Minister is from the Conservative party, people from Western Canada are highly neocon...

Well, I agree, I was just more making a point that I couldn't see the type of joke Bush gets or Clinton got.

And I am mostly interested because of Ron Paul, usually I don't really give a shit whether Giuliani or Clinton will be elected, they both have equal similarities to Hitler...but I like when libertarian ideals are in the spotlight, as they are the only logical and moral conclusion one can come to.

Actually it is very good. I am not sure why an increase by 5 times in a few months could in any way be considered as not good.

30 000 people being willing to donate money to him is (to me) a rather good result as well. He gets downplayed, but his numbers are amazing for his kind of campaign at least.

No idea what you mean with Alex Jones being the reason, probably nonsense though.

I think you don't have a very good understanding of the situation actually.

McCain will be nominated for the republican election. Giuliani is higher on the polls because for the unofficial republican polls, republicans just select who they wish would be president. The caucus meetings are completely different. Everybody will be voting for whoever can beat Hillary, and McCain has the best chance of that.

If McCain chooses wisely, Giuliani or Romney will probably be the running mate. Giuliani will do best against Hillary since he has so much experience with her in the past. Romney will only be wanted if McCain is worried about his budget, and McCain won't be (it's just his nature not to be, even if he should be).

I wouldn't be surprised if McCain just picks somebody nobody has ever heard of though. He's sure to pick a smart nobody, but a nobody nonetheless. Hillary will pick a popular running mate, maybe Obama. I hope so.

If I were picking, Romney and Obama would both be running mates to other, more powerful candidates in the finals.
