There is a difference between making fun of somebody as a character and his/her predicaments, and then laughing at somebody else's agony....that's all.

But since that is not what you did, it is irrelevant.

Crucifixion was Roman yes, and one doesn't usually die with in like 3 hours....And if his death sentence was Roman it would seem to point that is was more from Roman law of offending their authority in some part. All Rebels were put to death in this way, which makes a change in the whole story. Romans wouldn't really care if someone offended the Jews/Hebrews religion, but they would care if someone was doing some resistance.
