Well, that's as it should be. Ryan Reynolds & Chris Evans have the same challenge in their respective, upcoming roles - both are known for playing it broadly comic, and now must play it totally straight
& heroic.

...Oh, by the way - it seems Green Lantern's suit will be entirely CGI. 😎

i just read that off of superherohype..

i am not sure how i feel about that just yet..

It actually makes some sense, since his ring creates the uniform. Why do another guy in spandex when you have the opportunity to do something cooler with this tech? I hope this means no domino mask either.

There shouldn't be any real concern about the suit being completely CG. Cameron and co. made 10 foot tall blue people interact pretty darn well with real people, so a latex suit shouldn't be a problem.

Have a hard time believing it won't be comic-book-cheesy with Ryan Reynolds as the lead, but okay.

Mark Strong as Sinestro is a perfect casting, imo.

I'm not feeling the mask. They can't do that mask and not have it look cheesy, Mr. Incredible like.
If they think it's neccessary, they should look at early Kyle Rayner's style of mask.
