Right after the Surfer got depowered by Galactus. Oh, my mistake, I meant right after he got 'almost totally' drained by the Sonic Shark, which was AFTER his depowering by Galactus. Before fighting Thor, he remarks about how his power is a fraction of what it once was.
Now that the Surfer is Galactus' herald again, he's been re-empowered. Thor was about on the level of a fraction of the real Surfer.

Just add in there that Surfer stated he was more powerful than ever before. Just thought I might remind you seeing as how you failed to mention it.
Current incarnations Thor is still more powerful than Surfer. Actually, Thor closer to Galactus in power than he is Surfer.

Uhhh.....Loki amped the Surfer. But even if Loki added his power to Norrin's it still wouldn't have put him at his original levels.

You needn't bring up rune king thor just because you're well aware that the Surfer is more powerful than your favourite asgardian. Rune King Thor isn't even current Thor - Current Thor is the D.B. we saw make a slight appearance in Fantastic Four.

D.B. isn't Thor, and he also hasn't shown any indication of his power lv since he supposedly arrival. It's good to see you reaching though, making an attempt to make Surfer seem more powerful than Thor.
Anyways, the last time we saw Thor before his slumber he was far more powerful than Surfer.
Oh and BTW. What has Surfer done since receiving this power up? blow up a planet, whoop dupe, he could have done the same before the power up.

There may be no evidence as to what his powerlevel truly was, but...uhhmm...I guarantee it wasn't Rune King Thor level.

Bill already showed how ineffective he was against Stardust.
Thor isn't as durable as Surfer, nor as Fast. But since he absorbs energy, he takes away the bread and butter of Surfer.
Surfer breaks out the exotic stuff, he wins. Dumbed down Surfer loses.

That wasn't Thor it was D.B., and again his power lv wasn't shown.
I also doubt it was, but there no reason to speculate either way. Thus is the reason we tend to go by latest incarnations.
I'm not arguing anything. I was referring to Classic incarnation of each character, but you wanted to use current Surfer so I used the most Current Thor.
Classic Thor can't compare to a Surfer who has done nothing but destroy a planet? interesting.
