By rights eventhough Psi balsts and mind reading are two different tasks they are both similar in nature. So if you have resistance to teleptahy you should have resistance to mind blasts, but I guess thats just how things are.
I dont know much about white martians but they seem to be badass. If aquaman can do that and BP gets no prep, BP loses.
