This is a Duplicate Thread.

And you go on about how its to Distort but you ruined yourself and whole logic in the argument because in your opening sentence you use the word Change.

This isn't an Attack at you, its just me telling you, that you made a mistake.

So stop getting all preachy and up-tight about it Seraphim.

You're wrong. I didn't ruin my logic. If you're going to come in here and confront me about this, try doing it correctly. I made a mistake of DICTION, son. I meant to place distort there, but instead, I placed change there. You're way off. Oh, the irony.

Anyhow, It's simply not a duplicate because change and distort are two different animals. Just like similie and metaphor; A simile is a sub type of what a metaphor is, but they're TWO DIFFERENT THINGS.

GOI.

"Fundamentally, Change denotes the transition that occurs when something goes from being the same to being different."

"A distortion is the alteration of the original shape (or other characteristic) of an object, image, sound, waveform or other form of information or representation."

I don't see change nowhere. Distorting is SLIGHTY ALTERING something, NOT CHANGING IT, FOR F*CKS SAKE.

GOI.

Rofl, I've gone over that one. If you want to get into it, I'm so down. 😄

And When you Distort something....what do you do?

Technically, You're "Re-Naming them" with the distorted one

Why are you getting so angry about this ?

But I am not CHANGING their usernames, I am DISTORTING them.

Honestly, could you stop trying to make the two parallel? It's makes you look more stupid than you already look, really.

Yes, the insult was unnecessary and I could've utilized euphemism but your ignorance is itching at my nerves, to be honest.

You're pretty much supposed to do the exact same thing as you do in Vinny's thread 🙄

Yeah, but your argument was fundamentally flawed

If a random person walks into a thread and insults it or questions it, it's unoriginal. ANY THREAD. That is what your logic plays on. If you have to defend it, it is automatically deemed unoriginal. That's faulty logic, Strangelove. Sorry, but it is.
If that's what I was saying, you'd be right. Your problem is that you don't recognize the difference between someone attacking a thread just for it being stupid, spam, etc. and someone questioning a thread's originality. What I'm actually saying, if you took the time to read, was that if a threadmaker has to spend undue amounts of time and energy explaining the minuscule differences between his/her thread and the thread it's duplicating, then the threads aren't different enough to need both of them.

Twist it and/or alter it.

"Fundamentally, Change denotes the transition that occurs when something goes from being the same to being different. For example, water in the liquid state is not the same as water in the frozen state. At some point, it experienced a transition and became different. Thus, it changed."

^ See?

Distortion is when something is SLIGHTY TWISTED OR UNDERGOES MINOR ALTERATION.

If distortion and change were the same thing, one or the other would be inexistent, logically.

That's not what you said.

You said if something needs to be defended of it's originality, it's simply not original. That is logical fallacy. Just like if a Knight had to defend his knighthood, he would not be a knight. Do you see the essential flaws in your twisted and broken logic? Or no?
