Why is Darth Vader's apprentice fighting imperial soldiers? 🙄
Taken from the interview
Blackman: “We don’t call him Darth Vader’s apprentice, we call him Darth Vader’s secret apprentice. We often get asked why the secret apprentice is fighting Imperials in the game footage if he’s Darth Vader’s apprentice – it’s because he’s a secret apprentice. Vader actually directs you as the secret apprentice to leave no witnesses behind. So there are times you’re in an area where stormtroopers are fighting whoever you’re after. If they spot you, you have to dispatch them since you’re not allowed to leave any witnesses. Vader is very firm about the fact that if you’re ever discovered, bad things are going to happen – the Emperor can’t know about you.”
well I certainly will be playing this one, thats for sure..
as for it being canon :
Blackman: “All these characters are going into the continuity, they’ll all be canon, and they’re all part of the Star Wars galaxy. So I can imagine that there will be other follow-ups with those characters. We’re already starting to toss around ideas about the next storyline and how some of these characters can resurface and have major roles in a sequel.
he says the characters will be canon but he doesn't say anything about the force usage

Yeah, Ush, part of the demo level at E3 was pulling a Star Destroyer out of orbit and crashing it into the planet.Like I've said, overpowered to the point of stupidity.
Yes, I understand, it was just my response to the poster above. he is implying it would not be overpowered unless you could... take out the Death Star with the Force.
(and not in the 'timing a torpedo shot' sense)
Ok people seem to exaggerate what they are seeing. We do not see him pull a Star Destroyer from orbit to crash into the planet, we see a low flying Star Destroyer, already within the the atmosphere, crashing down on a city. What he could have done is affect the stabilizers or the people controlling the Star Destroyers stabilizer.
Still overpowered, but it's no need to overblow it to something it is not.
We're talking about the first trailer that was released not so long ago.
You can see it here for yourself: http://www.starwars.com/video/view/000519.html
Yup, it was announced some time ago: http://starwarsblog.wordpress.com/2007/07/15/force-unleashed-story-characters-and-clues-revealed-at-ce/
No offense guys, but please stop whining about the force being "overpowered."
Its not like their going to make the game easy or anything, maybe they will notch up the number of enemies, or bring in some other force user bosses. And don't forget, it's a TRAILER. Trailers have a habit of making a big deal out of things or saying something that isn't even in the game.
And I would LOVE to play a game with powerful force powers. I mean, using the force killing things instead of a lightsaber or guns? Hell yeah. The game that got closest to there is the Jedi Knight series, but even in it you will find yourself killing things with a lightsaber most of the time.
I don't even know what your whining about, EU is already screwed up to the maximum, and the game will most likely NOT be easy. And it would be just plain COOL if you could pull a Star Destroyer out of the orbit and make it crash onto a city. I can almost imagine how badass you would feel. And if the graphics in game are going to be impressive too, then I'll surely get it.

It's not going to be overpowered because they'll likely bring up the number of bad guys? Um, no, that's still overpowered. And is a very lame way to get away with the fact that it is so.
And just about every Star Wars game that's been made in the past, oh, ten years has been really easy. It's a bit silly.
Just because the EU is already screwed up doesn't mean they should continue to make things that go completely against what the movies are. It might seem cool to be stupidly powerful for a while, but it gets very boring very quickly.

My point is the game will suck if they make it easy, but they won't. You just saw the goddamn powers, you didn't see the AI or the bosses you would be facing. You can't really say if the game will be too easy or not. It would be cool if the game wasn't easy and you could use crazy powers.
Oh, and Multiplayer would rock only if they add some original ideas to it. Like game types.

Because they suck. I've come to this firm decision.I mean really. Jedi are never shown that powerful. FFS. If they could fling stuff about like that, they'd have never been defeated by the Clone army to begin with.
I dunno. Looks pretty, looks like it'd be fun to go nuts like that...but it also looks to me that if you're THAT powerful, the game would get damn boring after a while.
It'll do well. The human mind naturally runs off basic instinct and the first thing that comes to mind is: Control and Power.
The abundance and gigantic amount of power and control that game looks like it's going to fork out will have Gamers in a trance.
