Depends what you're looking for really. TFU is simply a beat-em-up game with force powers and physics, and since thats all I'm intending it to be (besides the plot and all) I cant really be disappointed unless the game is complete shit, and from the videos it looks pretty fun. I figure the story will be typical 'follow the darkside most of the game then make your own choice somewhere near the end', which is fine with me for this type of game.
I hope the move set is similar to Soul Calibur, cause if so it'll kick so much ass. I wish they'd make a decent RPG though...
Level design is key. That's what made the Jedi Knight series so excellent. Force powers are wonderful icing, but not the core part of the game that's needed for it to work well.
Decent fighting game + fully-fleshed out Star Wars universe? Excellent game. Awesome fighting + bland, generic environments? Suck. Jedi Knight made you feel like you were playing the movies. Hopefully this is able to do the same for most of the game.
This is a friggin prequel to SW: New Hope for god sakes! If Starkiller was supposed to take down the emperor then that means he didn't succeed and he might have died at the end of the game since he's nowhere seen in the movies (or he could have fled either way). I think it's pretty obvious how the game will end but I'd like to see how the beginning and the middle looks.

Disagree.
To each his own, but then it just becomes an adrenaline junky Force-wank with stormtroopers flying through the air and being decapitated. I realize that sounds awesome, but it's also the sort of thing that will become boring by level 8 unless it's backed with a believable and interactive environment that places the player in a variety of exciting situations that has nothing to do with direct combat.

Do you go around doing anything other then saying random things?
He's not going after the Emperor, he is going out to kill all the Jedi (a task mostly fulfilled by the time of ANH), we cana ll guess that he at some time get the choice to see the "Light" and fight Vader, but if he dies or not, we can't really say.
He can easily show up later in the EU after TFU has been released.
Starkiller aint goin after the emperor? I thought that's what the plot was when I watched an interview talking about it. Guess I was wrong. I hate it when fan boys have to go and screw up our minds thinking what they say is true.
If any guys who made crappy vids on the internet talking about plots of this game are in here: SHUT UP AND QUIT BRAIN WASHING PEOPLE WITH YOUR LIES 😠

Dude, no. He teams up with Jabba the Hutt's chef assassin and goes after Vader at the end, turning on his mentor. Vader's the final boss, and you seem to kill him but a plot device sequence ends it. Very tragic.

hmm..never looked at it from that angle...i was going more with the assassin that kills chefs angle..rather than the chef that actually is an assassin...
i think they'd be a match for any jedi...lighsabre vs spatula...
