I don't think someone spent 60 on a game just to try to find the bad. But it's obvious the flaws of the game hinders it from being a fully enjoyable experience to many.
Thats what im saying. For $60 the game better be damn good. The game hasnt lived up to my expecations. I mostly wanted the game because the gap that it fills between Eps.3 and 4 but had I known that there was a graphic novel, I probably wouldve waited.

it was kinda funny. right after I finished playing "the force unleashed" to turn on "smallville", there he was again. (never seen him act before but he's good.) can't wait to see him and c. kent stomp each other out.

Why should people ignore the bad and only focus on the good? The game has problems. I'm not going to ignore those problems when some of them are severe flaws in the game's design.By the way, I went into this game expecting to get bored because of the overpowered-ness making things easy. That's not the case, and not related to anything I have problems with. If anything, the enemies have been scaled to ridiculous difficulties for freaking mooks to match the power that Starkiller has.
Because nobody at all seems to be focusing on any good parts, and those that are are looking at high points are practically ignored. Yes, the game has some flaws, name ONE that doesn't. I have had a few problems, sound not going for a second or so, as well as others, but I pass through those, thinking whatever, let's kill someone else in some over dramatic explosive force pushing feat of awesomeness.
And perhaps I worded it and said it wrongly, and I appologise for that, don't only focus on the good parts, acknowledge the bad parts, take note of them, but don't let them take away from the overall game experience if its possible too, I personally haven't encountered too many problems. And some games, yes, the bad parts do take away from the overall game, but for this game, its by passable in my opinion.
You went into this game expecting to be bored? Well then your going to be looking for reasons to bore yourself, reasons why it wouldn't be very good. You won't find reasons as to why its good because you want to prove yourself right and so will search for reasons why it wasn't good.
Compared to someone excited to play the game, finding reasons why it is good and since they were looking forward to it so much, they look for reasons why it would be good and playable again because they were excited for it, they don't want to be disappointed, it sure seemed like you wanted to be disappointed.

I am actually far more impressed by the game than I expected to be.
However, this does not change the fact that there are severe flaws in it, several of which are simply poor game design, nor does it change the fact that the game is glitchy as all hell.
I know plenty of people who WERE excited about this game but have become very 'meh' about it after playing, by the way.
It's simply not that great of a game. It's decent, but it has many very severe flaws that cannot be overlooked that keep it from being great. Personally, as much as I dislike the setup for the game and everything, if not for most of these flaws I'd think it was excellent.

Your previous posts have made it seem otherwise, that you were very unimpressed and disappointed with the game. So sorry for making wrong assumptions, but its nice to point out the games good points as well as the bad points just in general.
And I agree with you, there are clearly flaws in the game, I have experienced some myself, others though I have not come across and hope I never do. The game was hyped to hell with more features then the controller has buttons, and trying to fit them all in, clearly was a wrong move. But I still really enjoyed the game, I just got off playing it yet again actually. And the only glitches I found really were the sound ones...haven't experienced any other glitches.
And honestly, I appreciate you saying as such, that the game wasn't all that bad, with obvious flaws. You have posted only bad parts to the game, so I appreciate it. And yes, clearly, it could have been much better if it had not so many flaws/glitches.

For that matter there's going to be a tv series set in that period.
And as perviusly mentioned, odds on that that will smash the continuity of this story.

Oh man, I've had so many problems with glitches in this game, from random things freezing to the sound pausing to at one point, it freezing up entirely just as a finished a level, so I got the achievement but it didn't save that I actually finished so I had to redo the end...it's ridiculous. The game is SO glitchy. You'd think they could have tested for problems a bit better.
Though yes, I AM unimpressed by the game. I am fairly disappointed in it. I'm enjoying the game, but it's still nothing special and doesn't live up to what a Star Wars game should be. But then again, pretty much no SW game made in recent times beyond Lego SW has really impressed and entertained me.

The game's place in SW continuity makes so little sense anyway. My brother's been watching me play and keeps going "...huh? But what about (insert random thing here)?!"

Dude, I was jumping while fighting some troopers. I jumped in a freaking rock and somehow got stuck inside the damn rock. My only option was to restart the level and thats after I had been killed a few times (Im playing the hardest mode whcih aint really too hard).

I wasnt one of the people looking at this game negatively before they played it, I was always positive and couldnt wait to play it. Even waiting for a week for power, I read all the comments and didnt care. Now that I have played it, it pisses me the **** off. I literally stopped playing on Felucia, there is a holocron on a series of pedals/platforms. Everytime I tried to jump on the first one, it would either go transparent and I would fall through or it would literally ****ing move away. I did this for probably a half hour, since everyime I missed I fell 4/5 stories to the bottom of the room.
Then last night I got to the signature Star Destroyer pull, and I couldnt do it. There wasnt enough time between killing the Tie Fighters and the next wave for me to pull the damn thing down. I tried for an hour to get it, but I gave up.
Right now the whole reason I play is to see the next cutscene, I really enjoy the story and the starkiller character. Im not an overly anal Star Wars fan, so I can look past things. Movies, games, books, they are all imagination. lol
The game was pretty unimpressive in it's features, but it was an 'alright' game anyway. I didn't experience any glitches thought, but maybe that was because I wasn't very determined to get any of the holocrons or extra bonus items. The thing that annoyed the living **** out of me, was the targeting system. I can never target the right enemy, I can never pick up the right object, and I can never aim it correctly!
@stroFan, I didn't really find any problem in the Star Destroyer scene. Maybe your trying to hit the Tie Fighters with the explosive object that hovers around the platform? That takes time to aim it correctly, and will take a very long time to kill all the Tie Fighters, especially as you will have to take down a couple of waves. The easiest way to destroy them is wait until they turn around right next to you for another run to shoot at you, you jump up and Force Lightning them. You could destroy three or four consecutive ties coming at you like that. Then you just continue to pull down the Star Destroyer and it will become more damaged/get closer every time.
Use the force lightning to destroy the Tie Fighters. I also found that following the directional instructions for pulling down the Star Destroyer didn't work. position the right stick in the direction that the instructions tell you but hold the left stick left. I believe it tells you to hold the left stick straight up or diaganolly but that never worked for me. As soon as i started holding it left i made it into the green in no time.
I actually thought the Star Destroyer part was pretty easy. I got it on my first try, it took like 5 or 6 turns of pulling down on the SD. Either the TIES got easier to hit or I just got better at timing my Lightning bursts as you went on, but meh. Was easier than I though it'd be.
I cracked up at the cutscene after that, too. That was so great.
I think Imperial Raxus Prime is my favorite level, though I haven't yet played the Death Star, I just got there. Nearly finished with the game.

Hmm, ill try it again in a bit.
I must say.
Spoiler:
The Darth Maul cameo was a pleasant surprise, especially with that music. 😛

Oh, that fight was nothing but a nod to the fanboys...but it was so much fun. That was the most fun boss fight so far. Easy though. Usually it takes me at least a second try to defeat a boss, I did that on my first try 😛
I just love that level in general, really.

I loved it too, it was totally out of place, but using Proxie made it acceptable.
Spoiler:
Plus if Vader made Proxie(he looks like 3po), it would possibly represent one of Anakin's fears.

PROXY kinda reminded me of a mix between 3PO and HK-47. Which is just funny.
I liked the little bit where Juno calls and says that PROXY's left the ship, and Starkiller just replies "Yeah, I know what he's up to, thanks for the warning." Cracked me up.
If nothing else, the game has a good sense of humor 😛
