Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.

So, things that annoy me with it so far...

- The controls suck. They're very awkward. The auto-lock thing in particular is horrible, it's always got me grabbing the wrong thing.

- The game has a serious problem with swarms. I had an easier time killing three rancors at once than killing a Felucian Chieftain and the swarms that spawned with it.

- The Apprentice has really slow reflexes. It gets annoying when you kill something, and there's something else coming behind you, but it takes a full second for him to finish posing or whatever after killing with a saber and to turn around. By that time, whatever's come up behind me has usually hit me. And the once something hits you, breaking away and/or getting back up is difficult to do as well.

- Force-draining droids is the ****ing cheapest thing ever, beyond cortosis. What the hell is that crap?!

I think Shaak Ti's voice was dead-on perfect for her, though.

And why are trees saber-proof?

Cortosis trees?

...It's weird giving advice on how to kill my favorite Jedi... ermm

I started playing the game again since the last time i played a few days ago and in one try beat shaak ti. I know you can drag her. (I did it once by accident and I don't know how i did it even though last night i tried to pressing each button while near her while she was downed and nothing happened)

I beat her a different way. I just kept using "repulse" and slashing her while she was down. Her men would fall too and everyso often i'd go after them exclusively for the energy since that's the only way to kill 'em -while on the floor-). -thanks for the "constant repulse" tip though-

So i kept doing that until she go on that plant, pressed a few preprogramemd buttons and fried that beast plant with her in tow.

I'm on that tall electric stormtropper part now. Tried that a few times, didn't succeed and went to bed.

Purge troopers are a pain in the ass, and I'm annoyed at the placement of the autosaves on the Empirical, since I keep dying in that last room where two of them double-team you.

Also annoyed with the fact that when you save in a specific spot and then go to load game? It starts you back at the last autosave spot.

What the hell is the point in having a save/load function if it just does that? I mean, all upgrades and stuff are saved automatically anyway.

Purge Troopers are a big pain in the ass, I agree.

Did anyone else find the final Darth Vader fight less than epic? I was seriously hoping for more than what I saw. Although it was cool when

Spoiler:
you slash off Vader's mask and force hold him against the red field.

Why do people always look for the really bad in a game? It's kinda ridiculous, you go in looking for these bad things and then you obviously won't come out of it with a good opinion. Just notice the bad thing if you come across it and let it go. It's part of the game. Focus on the good.

Just on this page alone there's so much downing it.

Co-signed.
This game is not nearly as bad as some people say.

Is it just me or the PS3 Version didn't give me a decision at the end? Or was there no decision what so ever?

The game was pretty good but the aiming and targeting system is a PAIN in the ass. I kept on grabbing wrong objects and I can't throw them at the place I want to throw them at most of the time.

I thought the storyline was entertaining but ridiculous...

Spoiler:
The decision is in heading toward the Emperor, or jumping over the railing to finish off Vader.

Oh, really?

Do I have to replay the whole game in order to take a different route or I can somehow load back to that particular scene?

I just got the Red Ring of Death almost exactly when I started playing...I didn't even kill anyone yet.

...WTF? 😐

Just select "continue game" at the start screen, and in the pause menu is a "mission select" option. Playing through the last level again is enough.

Why should people ignore the bad and only focus on the good? The game has problems. I'm not going to ignore those problems when some of them are severe flaws in the game's design.

By the way, I went into this game expecting to get bored because of the overpowered-ness making things easy. That's not the case, and not related to anything I have problems with. If anything, the enemies have been scaled to ridiculous difficulties for freaking mooks to match the power that Starkiller has.

Precisely.

What people should do is take both the good and the bad aspects, while focusing on neither. The idea is to take into account the game in full, not just the parts you liked or the parts you hated.

I don't understand why people find this game to be difficult......Imo it's only hard if you are playing on Sith Master.

Also you are pretty damn powerful if you play on Apprentice with maxed out powers.

Damn. I know the feeling.

I just got my 360 back this earlier this month (or last month) from MS. And even though they sent me back a new one I traded it in a got the 360-Elite with the falcon motherboard which completely eliminates the RRoD.

And it's got HDMI too. Which comes in handy when using it with the sony plasma i purchased while the 360 was away.

But hang in there. I went into video game relapse but i came out fine.

I don't think someone spent 60 on a game just to try to find the bad. But it's obvious the flaws of the game hinders it from being a fully enjoyable experience to many.

i cannot wait to get my copy just one more week then i will have it 😄

Yay 😖

that dude that plays as the apprentice was on "smallville" last night.

he's doomsday in it. my second favorite villain in dc.

it was kinda funny. right after I finished playing "the force unleashed" to turn on "smallville", there he was again. (never seen him act before but he's good.) can't wait to see him and c. kent stomp each other out.
